Shakira Performs "Loca" on Letterman!
Colombian superstar Shakira gave the first televised performance of her brand new single "Loca" on The Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday - The merengue/reggaeton tune serves as the lead cut from Shakira's upcoming album "Sale El Sol" - in stores on October 19th. Shakira owned that stage! Great performance. Shaki - wearing a gold top and trousers - offered us her trademark belly-dancing and oozed lots of sensuality. Plus, kudoz to her for singing live and nailing the whole choreography. This ain't an easy song to sing, as the verses go fast. BTW, I like sooo much better Latin Shakira with songs like "Loca" or "La Tortura" than her pop-urban stuff like "She Wolf" or "Give It Up To Me". This just feels more natural. I'm not sure if "Loca" will be a record-breaking hit on the Hot 100 in the states but I'm conviced this will be a SMASH in Latin American and Spain. Oh! And I hope she performs at this year's EMA's. That'd be huge!
