Shakira - "Empire" [Music Video]
Shakira wears a wedding dress but refuses to walk down the church aisle in the music video for new single "Empire". The Steve Mac-produced rock mid-tempo is the official second offering from Shakira's self-titled tenth album, in stores today (March 25th). Watch the Darren Craig, Jonathan Craven and Jeff Nicholas co-directed visual above!
Hopefully Shakira won't escape on her real wedding day (when she marries hunky boyfriend, Gerard Piqué) like in this video!
Beautiful Shakira is about to say 'I do' to an unknown man (actually, you can't even see the groom in the church... just the priest in the back), however she has second thoughts and decides to escape...and escape into the nature that is!
What a breath-taking scenery there is in this video. The mountains landscape in the distance while Shakira belts out the "Empire" chorus on the open grass field looks truly stunning. Other scenes in the music video see Shakira (now wearing black) performing at what looks like a devastated church (from the beginning).
