About time, my dear Sevyn Streeter! Four months after the premiere of her sultry R&B single, the Florida singer premieres a music video for "It Won't Stop" on VEVO. The track is included on Sevyn's upcoming debut EP "Call Me Crazy, But…", in stores November 5. The version of "It Won't Stop" used in the music video above is the official remix featuring Chris Brown. Brown put his directing skills at Sevyn's disposal for this visual.
"It Won't Stop" is such a hot and sultry slow jam. The song deserved to be, at least, a medium hit, and I'm glad to confirm today, "It Won't Stop" is officially a late-blooming hit. Sevyn's single just (this week) cracked the Top 10 on Urban radio in the States. Congratulations! It sucks though, she's using the Chris Brown remix for the single's music video. He didn't make "It Won't Stop" an urban hit with his remix, the original song was already doing 'its thing'. So shame at him for stealing some spotlight and credit from Sevyn by appearing in the music video.
Sevyn, by the way, looks amazing it it. The video sees Sevyn and credit-stealer Chris Brown enjoying a beach day, performing choreographies on the sand and getting warm by a bonfire in a chilly night. Portland Trail Blazers forward Dorell Wright plays Sevyn's leading man in the Chris Brown-directed clip.
