Demi Lovato sang the US national anthem before the beginning of Game 4 of the 2015 World Series of the Major League Baseball last night, October 31st, a the Citi Field Stadium in New York City - you just know what every opportunity counts to promote “Confident”!
The New Mexico native singer has performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” at televised major events before big crowds many times throughout her career. Therefore, Demi was more than ready to surprise us with a performance of the highest level yesterday. See how she fared below:
I’m a bit on the fence whether she slayed those high notes or if she was plain screaming. But oh well, the reaction of the crowd in the stadium was positive. Therefore, I assume she nailed the high notes it is. If I must say something negative about Demi’s performance of the US national anthem last night, it could be that I didn’t like very much the theatrics she had going with her hands. I would’ve preferred for her to had given a more sober image. And something positive to highlight? Hair, make-up and that red leather outfit that fit her like a glove!
