Rising Swedish Star Zara Larsson Debuts New Song “Better You” Live While Remaining Eco-Friendly: Watch
While we keep waiting for the international debut album of Zara Larsson (singer of one my current obsessions “Lush Life”) to come out, the rising Swedish pop singer keeps surprising us with new music. A couple of weeks ago she literally recorded a brand-new song titled “Better You” while on an electric city bus in motion in Gothenburg, Sweden. Say what? Apparently the Gothenburg city hall is trying to promote its new fleet of (almost silent) electric buses and they thought of no better idea to promote this than by inviting Sweden's most popular local star of the moment (and hopefully soon Sweden’s most popular export in the world) Zara Larsson to sing a never-before-heard tune while riding bus number 55. She was accompanied by four members of her band (Hampus Lindvall, Mikael Sahlsten, Simon Santunione and Lovisa Sjöberg Nordahl) and this performance for “For Better” was, of course, caught in video. Watch Zara serve beautiful vocals and be an eco-friendly girl below!
AH! “Better You” better be on her upcoming international debut album because this is such a pretty song. This pop ballad hears Zara telling her ex-boyfriend what a great life she’s living now, now that she’s not with him anymore but with a much better, taller and richer man! (ouch!)
