Rihanna Kicks Off '777' Tour In Mexico City
The '777' tour has officially begun! Rihanna's Unapologetic pre-release promo tour will take the singer (aboard a chartered Boeing 777 jet along over 150 international journalists, and a lucky group of fans) to seven different cities in North America and Europe in just 7 days (uh-huh, a concert per day...Homegirl is cray-cray), and the Mexican capital was the first stop on Wednesday (November 14)!
The Bajan star took the stage at a sold-out El Plaza Condesa venue where she rocked a 20-song setlist that included, as expected, a performance of her brand new single "Diamonds". Watch RiRi belting out the Sia-penned ballad as well as other hit songs in the videos below. Good energy, and...vocals? Not sure about the last as the quality of the videos are not the best. Again though, how is Rihanna gonna play a 20-song concert everyday for 7 days?. I thought this was gonna be a like a 5-song showcase, but it turned out to be a full concert. I don't want to imagine how tired she'll get for the NYC gig on November 20.
