Pink Wrote A Song For Season 13 Of “Ellen”: Hear A Snippet Of “Today’s The Day” Here
This isn’t how I imagined new music from Pink to come our way… but I’ll take it!
The 35-year-old singer-songwriter, and mother of one, has recorded an inspiring original song titled “Today’s The Day” to serve as the theme music for Season 13 of “Ellen”, whose first episode airs on September 8th.
Ellen asked Pink to write her a song for her show’s 13th season and, of course, Pink obeyed! (Ellen, ha power!)
“Today’s The Day” is an uplifting pop record; it contains a message of positivity, it gives me Natasha Bedingfield vibes for some reason, and impressively it really nails its purpose of being the theme song of a show. This sounds like it was born for TV.

Ellen teased the new Pink song “Today’s The Day” by uploading on EllenTube.com today (Aug. 12) a one-minute long Season 13 promo video that includes footage of Pink at the recording studio, with her daughter Willow, 'recording' the new song.
Can’t wait to listen to the full studio version! But most likely we’ll have to wait till September when Season 13 of "Ellen" kicks off.
