Pharrell, Idina Menzel, U2 & Pink Perform at 2014 Oscars [Watch Videos!]
The 86th Academy Awards may have been all about "12 Years a Slave" and "Gravity", but the live performances by Pharrell Williams, U2, Pink and Idina Menzel also had their share of spotlight during this year’s broadcast of the Oscars on ABC.

Idina Menzel performed her Oscar-winning song “Let It Go” (congratulations!) – from the soundtrack of the animated movie “Frozen” - too. First word that popped into my head after this performance was... Yikes! What the hell happened to Idina? Hopefully it was the nerves! There was too much screaming and over-the-top vocals. She looked stunning, though. This is a shame 'cause this was supposed to be her big night.
U2 performed their song "Ordinary Love" from the "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” film, and received a standing ovation from everyone at the Dolby Theater, because everyone in there was a big supported of the late South African leader. Yeah, right. Probably half of them didn't know who Mandela was, please.
One of the most impressive live performances last night had to be Pink's. She didn’t have a song nominated for an Oscar this year (hopefully soon) but she paid tribute to 75th anniversary of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ by performing the classic “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”. She nailed the song! So happy for her, and she looked breathtaking in that red dress. I wish she had done one of her aerial routines, though (ha).
