One Direction Get Folky On 'X Factor USA'
Simon Cowell got his world exclusive. One Direction performed their new single "Story of My Life" for the first time ever live (in its entierity) during the results show of Fox's "The X Factor USA" on Thursday, November 21. Watch video below!
This first televised performance of "Story of My Life" on US territory will surely be the first of many more upcoming TV appearances the British boyband will be doing in America to promote the release of their third studio album "Midnight Memories", which will be made available in stores there next Monday, November 25th. They're so going #1.
"Story of My Life" is the second single from "Midnight Memories" and as many have reviewed, the track is very Mumford & Sons style. Pop and folk music united. It's a strong single release, for sure. Perhaps (not perhaps...undoubtely), One Direction's best slow single release to date. As for their performance of "X Factor USA" last night, they delivered a solid presentation. Harry Styles seemed to struggle a tad during his high notes in the chorus, but kind of pulled it off. By the way, does anyone get Louis' look?. Eek.
