The second edition of the BBC Music Awards was held at the Genting Arena in Birmingham, England last night, December 10th.

This 2015 ceremony saw live performances by One Direction, Ellie Goulding, Stereophonics, Hozier, Little Mix, Omi, Jess Glynne, James Bay, Jack Garratt, The Shires, Paul Heaton, Jacqui Abbott, Years and Years and Rod Stewart.

The official description for this award show is: “an annual pop music awards, held every December, as a celebration of the musical achievements over the past twelve months”.

The main award of the night, “British Artist of the Year”, was given to “Hello” singer Adele. No surprises here, right?

HIGHLIGHT PERFORMERS REVIEW

- Why the hell did One Direction perform “Drag Me Down”? This song is so “old news” already.

- Ellie Goulding looked so graceful but again, what’s with performing these old songs? She did her “Fifty Shades of Grey” soundtrack hit “Love Me Like You Do”.

- Little Mix slayed the Genting Arena and all Birminghamers present with their “Black Magic” performance.

Who had the best performance?

OMI - Cheerleader

One Direction - Drag Me Down

Hozier - Take Me to Church

Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand

Years & Years - King

Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do

Little Mix - Black Magic

James Bay - Hold Back The River
