Official: Shakira Cancels All 2017 "El Dorado Tour" Dates, New Kick-Off Next Year

Our worst fears have come true. Shakira has officially canceled all of the 2017 dates of her "El Dorado World Tour", which translates into the entirety of her European leg. The Colombian pop singer had postponed already the kick off of her new tour set to be in Cologne, Germany on October 8th due to a health issue with her vocals chords occurred during rehearsals for the tour, then she postponed 4 more dates citing her "strained vocal chords" issue wasn't resolved yet, and now today Live Nation is confirming the European leg is a no go. "Due to a hemorrhage in her vocal chords" that's still not fully healed yet Shakira simply can't perform right now, for she could cause the health issue to grow bigger. For that reason she needs to rest, and rest a lot. Live Nation confirms the European leg will be rescheduled in 2018.

Shakira is now set to retake the "El Dorado World Tour" in Orlando, Florida on January 9th. She expects to be fully recovered by that date. Please start praying.

We really thought this health problem wasn't that big but we were wrong. It's so serious Shakira has sacrificed upsetting all of her European fans. What did exactly happened at rehearsals? We know of artists who become sick while touring but not before commencing. It's rare. Shakira must have clearly over rehearsed.

UPDATE: The "Chantaje" singer has confirmed the sad news herself now.
