Two major announcements from Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei have taken place this week. The first being her public deny of any bad blood between her and fellow band member Camila Cabello on Friday, and the second, announced earlier today (Aug. 7), that she is taking a hiatus from Twitter. Normani has been racially cyber bullied on Twitter it seems. And I say “it seems” not because I don’t believe her but because I haven’t been able to find any example of this racial cyber bullying after doing a quick search on Twitter. It could be though that the microblogging site has already removed all those hateful pictures - at the request of Normani, as she pointed out in her last tweet for a while. But what did those pictures look like!? A connoisseur of the situation explains: “Yeah apparently some crazy Camila stans have been photo shopping pics of Normani getting lynched!”. Say what!? That’s so despicable! Racism is so wrong and I hope Normani recovers from this really soon. I know for sure she’ll be liven our lives up on Twitter again in no time!
On the racial cyber bullying case of Normani’s, fellow Fifth Harmony members Camila Cabello and Ally Brooke had something to say too:
i stand by the words "love only", meaning I won't tolerate on my timeline any kind of hate, racism, or discrimination towards ANYONE. period

You don't have to hate on somebody else to support me- I don't appreciate it and it's not what I'm about.. Be kind or move on

I never go on rants like that but there's so much cruel stuff going on in the world right now- let's be part of the healing, not the problem

darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.
