Nicki Minaj: “If I Get A Tiny Engagement Ring, I Would Give It Back” / Nicki Minaj’s Must-See “Ellen” Interview!
Female rapper Nicki Minaj stopped by “The Ellen Show” this Thursday afternoon, April 7th, to sit down and be interviewed about her upcoming new movie “Barbershop: The Next Cut” (in theaters next week) and her relationship with MC Meek Mill.
With respect to the film, Nicki - who wore a tight dress and a blonde weave for this “Ellen” appearance - talked about her role in it, how she loved the script over others that were submitted to her and she rejected, and how unbelievably awesome was working with the whole cast on set.
I particularly LOVED how Nicki explain the story of her character Draya. “She is the big booty girl who gets a lot of guys, but she wants more, she has her own money, her own job, but she does believe in taking men for what they have, and she does believe, that hey, you want something from me, well, I want something from YOU TOO (in her “Miley, what’s good!?) tone)”, Nicki ranted.

And when the time came to explain the situation of her relationship with Meek Mill, Nicki confirmed that they’re not engaged yet - despite him having already given her two huge diamond rings. Apparently Meek and Nicki are so modern that the fact of giving a diamond ring to the girlfriend means “nothing”. But, does Nicki even want to get married already? “I don’t know. We’re still figuring each other out,” she said. “In fact, I don’t even want to say I’m in a relationship anymore because I think when people hear that they go to a mean place”, she then added. TROUBLE IN PARADISE? Puzzling words, huh?.
Nicki also took this interview to tell the world how little of a material girl she is. When Ellen asked her what would happen if someone gave her an engagement ring of a quarter of carat, she said: “I would give it back (*shadily laughs*)".
You already know what’s good. If Nicki and Meek ever break up, and you are a poor man with a low-income job, don’t you ever get near Nicki!
