Nicki Minaj Awfully Censored on GMA: Watch Her "Feeling Myself" & "The Night Is Still Young" Performances
Nicki Minaj performed, as agreed, on Friday morning on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series live from Central Park in New York City, but she may have as well skipped it. Nicki’s performances of “Feeling Myself” and “The Night Is Still Young” were blatantly and unjustly censored on such a high scale. The former especially suffered the consequences of the stupidity of the GMA director/whole TV censorship body of the United States.
Nicki was on GMA to plug her latest album “The Pinkprint”, her new tour, that’s right now visiting arenas in the US, and of course, her new single “The Night Is Still Young” too.
Wearing a skin-tight, sheer bodysuit, Onika slayed her hundreds of fans that had woken up early on Friday morning to see her live with fierce performances of two stand-out tracks from “The Pinkprint”, but unfortunately to those of us watching her set from out homes through out TV sets we couldn’t be slayed due to the heavy censorship. If I didn’t count wrong, there was a 10 second-long muting during the “Feeling Myself” performance in the second half of the song. It was ridiculous! And why the hell did they censor words like “punchlines” or “flawless”? LOL.
Oh well. Would Nicki have opted out from this GMA gig had she known she was going to be censored so much… probably not… why? Queen Onika is so kind with her fans, she just wouldn’t have let down the hundreds of fans she knew would be in Central Park so early in the morning to see her.
