Niall Horan Covered Julia Michaels' "Issues" On "Live Lounge" And It Was Good: Listen
Niall Horan keeps promoting his solo career wherever he goes, and wherever was BBC Radio 1’s “Live Lounge” today.
He performed two songs in acoustic mode on the Clara Amfo-hosted show, live from the London studios of BBC Radio 1.
The first song Niall sang was his latest single, “Slow Hands”.
Later, the One Direction star performed his mandatory “mystery cover”, something every guest artist do on “Live Lounge”. Niall opted to do a rendition of Julia Michaels’ massive pop hit “Issues”. And guys, the slayage was real. Niall sang “Issues” so well and so emotionally, he made the song his own; giving it his own “Niall Horan” twist, and he “folked it up” (as he said) real good. This is a must-listen.
Someone better send this blog post link to Julia Michaels ASAP. She needs to check out this cover! I bet it will make her day.
Oh, and can Julia please write for Niall's debut album (she might actually now as a return the favor for this beautiful cover Niall just did of "Issues")? That song would the best thing ever. Julia's brilliant lyrics combined with Niall's moving vocals? Yes, please!
