Ne-Yo Performs On 'Good Morning America'

Ne-Yo Performs On 'Good Morning America' picture

With just a month and few days left 'til his 5th album "R.E.D" drops in stores, singer Ne-Yo was spotted on Friday (August 2) finally doing some promo, this at ABC's "Good Morning America" - The 32-year-old got the party started for his fans gathered at Central Park in New York City with a setlist featuring his hit dance collaborations; "Let's Go" (property of Calvin Harris), and "Give Me Everything" (property of Pitbull). But, you may be wondering if Ne-Yo was so foolish to only promote tracks he's not the owner of...well, the answer is NO. He also delivered the first live performance of his new "R.E.D" single, the Stargate-produced dance/ballad "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)".

Ne-Yo did a good job on the 'vocal' aspect in all the performances, but it's the song choices that got me I bit confused. Why performing "Let's Go" and "Give Me Everything"?. Did Calvin pay him to promote the track for him?. And what about the Pitbull single?. That song is so 2011, lol. Ne-Yo should've performed a couple of his own hits like "Because of You" or "Closer" instead. I'm sure his fans at Central Park would've appreciated it more. Video Credit: NeonLimelight.com
