Selena Gomez has selected "A Year Without Rain" to be the second official single to be lifted from her upcoming sophomore of the same title name. The full song has made its way to the Internet earlier today, September 2nd. Quite a change from the electro-pop "Round and Round". AYWR is a really nice midtempo ballad with a subtle dance-music influence. Selena actually SINGS this time, demostrating her cute vocals. Good lyrics, good chorus = awesome song. "Round and Round" only managed to peak at #24 on the Hot 100 chart but that was mostly due Selena almost giving it zero promotion. Just the "America's Got Talent" performance and a couple interviews. So she better promote properly this time because if "A Year Without Rain" flops then we can say her album will be in danger. Selena's sophomore record will see the light of day on September 21. BTW, the new single's music video will debut tomorrow after the premiere of Camp Rock 2 on Disney Channel. I read the clip was shot at a desert! Can't wait to see it.

Here's "Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor)", the official first single from Pitbull's upcoming LP named "PlanetPit" out later in 2010 - The just leaked cut features the King of Auto-Tune T-Pain - I assume from this song the Cuban rapper will be experimenting more this time with synth-beats to the detriment of his trademark latin-flavoured music. Sad though! I was totally diggin' "I Know You Want Me" and "Hotel Room", those were my club tunes!! Not really feeling "Hey Baby" at the moment, maybe it's be grower.

Cash Money recording artist Kevin Rudolf has premiered today the music video for his Flo Rida-assisted track "You Make The Rain Fall". This has been chosen as the second single from Rudolf's sophomore album "To the Sky" available since June. I like the single choice, it's more poppy/rock which means more radio-friendly. No doubt a bigger number of radio stations of different formats will be willing to play this song, plus Flo Rida it's always a clever and secured-sales artist to work with. Mr Rudolf has to promote for real this time though! e.g "I Made It" only peaked at #21. As for the recently premiered clip, it's not a super high-budget production but atleast they made something different and very VISUAL. Best of luck to Kevin! "You Make The Rain Fall" will be officially released in the USA on September 14th.

Listen to this new leak from Trey Songz' upcoming album "Passion, Pain & Pleasure" which hits stores on September 14th - It's the collaboration with Drake entitled "The Usual" - It's quite clear for everybody that just for the fact the Canadian superstar is featured on this track, this will be a strong candidate for a next single release. Trey Songz goes fully urban on this new tune with heavy beats, and leaving Drake to support with the rapping. Ehmmm sounds kinda solid, but not sure it has that "spark" to become a big radio hit. Nevertheless, being Drake on it will assure decent success atleast for the song if released. Check it out.

California girl Katy Perry is back in Europe on promotion duties to support her recently released CD "Teenage Dream". Perry's first stop was late last week at French TV show "Le Grand Journal" where she performed the new album's title track live from Canal + studios in Paris. She sounded ok-ish but looked really nice in that dress. Watch in the video above first Katy's interview with the show's panelists (they show that on Katy's first appearance on this same show earlier this year she got confused with the "greetings" rules and actually kissed a panelist in the lips LOL) and next her "Teenage Dream" performance.

Now in Germany, Katy Perry has been announced to be the new face of German TV channel ProSieben's "Star Force" campaign. The "I Kissed A Girl" singer shot not so long ago a 90-secs commercial with a very weird - but kinda cool at the same - futuristic theme. The TV ad was premiered yesterday, September 1st in Germany and we can check out the final result below. You gotta admit Katy looks AMAZING! Loved the final scenes with the rocket! This is also actually a nice outlet to promote her new album as this commercial features Perry's "Teenage Dream" song.

R&B/pop star Jason Derulo performed on Wednesday's results show of America's Got Talent on NBC. The Miami native took the center stage to give a live rendition of his latest US single "Ridin' Solo". Flashy and quite elaborated performance! I mean, being on a huge show like "Got Talent", obliges you to work on a kick-ass/extravagant show. However, and this is my problem with Jason, he puts so much effort on the dancing, and trying to nail every move that it reflects on a poor "vocal" performance. Just hear him. Jason's voice sounds too strained at times. In any case, I applaud him for trying to give an entertaining show every time. Derulo will kick-off his first headlining tour in the USA on September 27th.

The CMA Music Festival got several of the most relevant artists in the country music industry together for its 2010 edition which took place in mid-June at the LP Field Stadium in Nashville. The festival finally aired on CMT on Wednesday night. Some of this year's performers included; Taylor Swift (above) who gave the very first performance of her new single "Mine". Swift didn't actually perform at the LP Field but in a controlled-private set (during the festival) so fans there wouldn't leak the new song way too early. Taylor was simply sublime! Other top country artists at the festival were American Idol champ Carrie Underwood - check her out below singing "Undo It" and "Cowboy Casanova" - and the lovely Miranda Lambert who performed with Dierks Bentley their hit collaboration "Bad Angel". Bobby Ray Simmons aka B.o.B has had an amazing year so far - In April, he released his debut album "The Adventures of Bobby Ray" that peaked at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums Chart and spawned the #1 hit "Nothin' On You", the #2 smash "Airplanes" and most recently the new single "Magic" that this week has entered the Top 10 in the USA! I mean he and his label should be more satisfied with these results! Canadian pop star Justin Bieber played at NYC's Madison Square Garden before a sold out-crowd of 20,000 screaming fans on Tuesday night. The concert was part of the dates of Bieber's current "My World Tour". However, last night wasn't the normal show Justin usually plays. Tuesdays' gig was being filmed for the "Baby" singer's upcoming 3D movie which will be directed by Jon Chu. So what was so special about this show? Well, the guest artists! Bieber brought onstage Disney star Miley Cyrus to sing together "Overboard", Sean Kingston to perform their hit collaboration "Eenie Meenie", Jaden Smith to sing the Karate Kid theme-song "Never Say Never" and of course his label boss and friend R&B crooner Usher to perform the remix of "Somebody To Love". Cee-Lo has definitely scored an unexpected hit with his viral song "F**k You", whose Youtube video has already surpassed the 4 million views mark. The Smeezingtons production also serves as the first single from Cee-Lo's upcoming album "The Lady Killer" in stores on December 7th. And we can finally check out the song's official music video which has been debuted today. Lol truly enjoyed this clip! Brilliant work. Her last effort was "The First Lady" in 2005, which you can remember spawned the amazing single "Again". A very personal meaning song to Faith. That record was actually certified gold (and almost platinum), so not really sure what happened in that span of time without new music, I mean she did release a christmas album but that does't count for me. Anyways, I'm happy we have Faith back and delivering great R&B music once again.

Colombian star Shakira's new single "Loca" was premiered earlier today, September 1st, on different European radios. This is the English version which features British rapper Dizzee Rascal. Finally we have the studio cut! The uptempo pop tune with lots of reggaeton influence serves as the lead single from Shakira's upcoming album "Sale El Sol" - in stores later in 2010. "Loca" was produced by El Cata and Pitbull. Actually "Loca" is a remake of El Cata's own song "Loca Con Su Tigre". Shakira's new single samples the exact same beats. Anyways, I'm loving the song, loving it already from the previews and videos that were released online. Shakira has a smash here! Although I think I'll like the Spanish version better though. And probably "Loca" will be more of a hit in Spanish-speaking countries. Moreover, Shakira's new album will be fully in Spanish although it seems all the singles will have an English counterpart. Pop singer David Archuleta and R&B songstress Shontelle performed at the annual Arthur Ashe Kids' Day concert held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City on Saturday. They also shared the stage with the likes of the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. Anyways, Archuleta performed for the very first time live his brand new single "Something 'Bout Love". Putting aside some pitchy moments, David gave a solid performance. And I'm actually liking the song better now! The American Idol alum will release his sophomore album entitled "The Other Side of Down" on October 5th.

Shontelle also performed at this event. The Bajan singer gave a live rendition of her Top 15 hit (USA) "Impossible". She sounded AMAZING! Go Shontelle! Look at those fans singing the lyrics at 2:10 mark. But one thing though, didn't Shontelle feel too hot with that outfit? In any case, the Barbados native will release her new studio album "No Gravity" on September 20th. BTW, check out below too a short video of Shontelle performing her next official single "Perfect Nightmare" later on that same day at a radio gig.

Canadian superstar Nelly Furtado was one of the invited international artists that performed at the 2010 edition of the Orange Warsaw Festival in Poland that took place last Sunday - Nelly's extensive setlist included several songs from her back catalogue such as "All Good Things" or "Maneater" as well as new material like "Girlfriend In This City" and "Free" (produced by Salaam Remi). These tracks had already leaked and were posted on Directlyrics.com earlier this year. They're expected to appear on Nelly Furtado's upcoming English album "Lifestyles". Lady GaGa treated fans at her St Paul, Minnesota (USA) concert - part of her "Monster Ball" World Tour - with a performance of a brand new song called "Living On The Radio" on Monday night - The pop phenom was halfway her setlist at the Xcel Energy Center when she announced she would be singing a new song. GaGa said however she didn't think "Living on the Radio" would appear on her upcoming album. Perhaps b-side material? In general, I think it's an amazing gift for fans giving new songs in concerts, plus it helps increase the anticipation for her new record. However, Lady GaGa is clever as she's only debuting "ballads" and is keeping under lock and key the big guns = the uptempo smash hits. In any case, "Loving on the radio" is a nice effort with really beautiful lyrics. Check it out.

Alesha Dixon continues promoting her newest single "Drummer Boy" on English television - The pop star's latest stop was last Friday at VIVA's "Suck My Pop" show - What an awful name for a programme, right?Anyways, Alesha brought loads of energy for this new performance, nailed the choreopgraphy, delivered a fierce attitude and overall demonstrated the obvious, that is...she's a formidable performer! "Drummer Boy" will be released on September 5th in the UK. Dixon's new album "The Entertainer" goes on sale this Fall.

During Katy Perry's last visit to the UK earlier this month, the pop star taped a mini-concert for Channel 4's "The Album Chart Show". Perry's episode finally aired over the weekend. And of course her music had to evolve alongside. The super-talented Bruno Mars headlined his very first NYC show last week at the Bowery Ballroom. The Hawaii native wowed a sold-out crowd made of fellow Elektra Records' colleagues, label staff and hundreds of fans. Watch below some videos from the concert held on August 25th. What a show! What a voice! And can you please look/hear those fans singing along Bruno the lyrics of "Just The Way You Are"!!. I'm sure he must've felt amazing that night. Trey Songz has premiered the music video for "Can't Be Friends". The Mario Winans-produced track serves as the latest single lifted from Songz' upcoming LP "Passion, Pain & Pleasure" - out on September 14th. This a rather simplistic but powerful video at the same time. Just a pitch-black environment, a chair, a female collaborator and Trey Songz. The videoclip was directed by Anthony Mandler (yes, this guy is everywhere). However I have to give him props this time as he truly managed to capture the emotion and the feelings the song intends to transmit. I'm really enjoying this tune and hopefully it'll do a great job on the R&B charts. On the other hand, Trey's other single "Bottoms Up" currently stands at #22 on the Hot 100.

Mary J. Blige has already begun working on her tenth studio album which is due for release during the first quarter of 2011. One the confirmed producers of the project is Swizz Beats. Anyway, here's a new leak in the form of "Breakup To Makeup", reportedly from the recording sessions of this upcoming album. The R&B tune sounds clearly unfinished, but has some potential. Still, not so crazy about it right now as a whole except for the "get you off my mind, can't get you off my mind" part. Check it out.

Here's a new Kylie Minogue song entitled "Change Your Mind". According to Kylie's fansite KylieKonnect, this track was produced by Deadmau5 and penned by Jake Shears and it's an unreleased cut from the "Aphrodite" album. I'm really liking this! I wasn't that sure when I heard the first seconds, but when Kylie started singing it begun to sound interesting. Minogue could perfectly use this as a b-side of a future single.

Woop! This clip simply makes me be even more anxious to get my copy of Beyonce's "I Am..." Tour DVD! Khasan said however this video is NOT part of the DVD but from a random concert though. Detail is the latest signing from Akon's Konvict Muzik label and is currently working on his debut album. However, he's not new to the music industry as he's worked in the past with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Ray J or Sean Kingston either producing or writing songs for them. Although we don't have yet any confirmed info on the release date of Detail's debut LP or first single, here we can check out a taste of his new music in the form of "Shakin' My Head" featuring Flo Rida. This is HOT! Fresh & catchy synth-urban pop stuff. Perhaps they went a little too far with the auto-tune machine but regardless it's a great track! Just start nodding folks! BTW, where's Taio Cruz? This is the song he needed to record!! Oh well, Detail should totally release this as the first single from his album, it's a smash! And should release it SOON.

Taio Cruz touched down in Germany on Friday to participate at the 55th edition of The Dome - the country's famous music event held every 3 months where local and international artists perform their latest hits. The British star performed a set consisting of his newest cut "Dynamite" and "Break Your Heart" live from the TUI Arena in the city of Hannover. Cruz wore his typical jean plus leather-jacket outfit but this time added a "NY" cap. Good performances I guess, but I'm kinda getting bored of these songs already lol. He needs a new single ASAP! I'm happy for his success worldwide though. "Dynamite" was released just 8 days ago in Germany and it's doing a fantastic job over there from what I hear.

Pop star Katy Perry released this Tuesday her new album "Teenage Dream" (expected to debut with only 200k copies sold!? WTH?). That same day before her performance on "The Late Show with David Letterman" she played a private concert at the Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC which was streamed live on the Internet. Watch below the two "hightlights" from that show (and sorry for the delay with this!) Katy performed for the very first time her new official single "Firework", AND gave a very special perfomance of "Peacock" - wearing a light bulb-encrusted peacock outfit!! LOL's. Simply loved this!

Fefe Dobson will release later in 2010 her second Island Def Jam album, the aptly named "Joy". The first single from this project was the Kevin Rudolf-produced "Ghost" that peaked #14 in Canada. Now, Fefe is readying the second cut and the lucky song is "Stuttering". The rock/R&B/pop single was co-written and produced by Claude Kelly. I'm liking a lot! This is Kelly Clarkson's "Behind These Hazel Eyes" meets B.o.B & Hayley Williams's "Airplanes". Love the melody, the lyrics and Fefe's vocals. This is a winner for me. Hope it does well! "Stuttering" will be officially released via iTunes on September 7th.

Kanye West took his Twitter account last night to announce an upcoming Kanye & Jay-Z joint album entitled called "Watch the Throne". It's still unknown when will this project be released but West has already delivered the first "single" from it. Kanye posted yesterday on his official blog this new song entitled "Monster" featuring Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and indie artist Bon Iver. With this "freebie" Kanye has kept his "Good Friday" promise, that consists in releasing a new song every week on that same day. "Monster" is just crazy!...but in a good way though lol. Production is hot. And hands down to Nicki Minaj! She absolutely MURDERED it! I need her "Pink Friday" CD right now. BTW, 50k the verse? Nice...

Akon and David Guetta conquered the summer of 2009 with their monster song "Sexy Bitch" (#1 in over 10 countries) so why stop making records together, right? Listen to their newest collabo in "Once Radio". The R&B-dance tune just leaked from the new Future Of R&B mixtape. It remains uncertain if this track will appear on Akon's new studio album due out later in 2010 or in Guetta's upcoming re-release of "One Love". I like the song, but it seems to me this ain't the final version. I guess so 'cause the French DJ's beats don't go that hard and don't transmit that ultimate party fever excitement that we're accustomed from his songs. In any case, this has potential to become yet another hit for both Akon and Guetta. Check it out.

Carbonated TV recently caught up with Universal Motown recording artist Nelly at the set of his new music video for "Just A Dream". As you may know, the St Louis rapper is releasing a "dual combo" as the first single from his upcoming album "Nelly 5.0" in stores on November 16th. "Tippin' In The Club" goes to urban formats while "Just A Dream" has been sent to pop formats. Nelly filmed the video for the latter a few days ago in Playa del Rey, California and thanks to Carbonated TV we can check out a little "behind the scenes". Video looks like it'll be NICE! Great setting, seems there'll be stunts work, I mean that car hanging in the air? I see a high-budget. Not too shabby for Universal Motown! I'm happy things are going great for him in this new era.

Listen to this new leak from Nicki Minaj entitled "Check It Out". The Will.i.am-assisted track is said to be featured on Young Money HD's Limelight Mixtape which will be released online on September 1st. The radio-friendly production samples The Buggles classic "Video Killed the Radio Star". Also, the intro soooo Usher's "OMG". Will.i.am also produced that song so this is not a random coincidence. On the matter, Nicki Minaj tweeted the following today: "That's clearly the wrong version. Official release coming soon. Thanks". From this statement we can deduce two things. 1 - The track still has room for improvement. It sounds nice, super auto-tuned though, but catchy. Nicki kills it once again in the verses. And 2 - the whole "official release coming soon" thing makes me think Nicki actually plans to include this track on her debut album "Pink Friday" (November 23rd) and possibly release it as a single? You be the judge! You like?

Katy Perry keeps on promotiong her recently released new album "Teenage Dream" in the USA. The pop star's latest stop was at NBC's The Today Show on Friday morning for a mini-concert live from Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. Perry kicked-off her gig descending from a cotton candy cloud introducing her smash hit "California Gurls". Actually the whole stage had the "candyland" theme. There was even a man in a gummy bear costume for crying out loud! xD. Katy's vocals were a bit shaky but I can understand it as this performance was very early in the morning. I think 7am. BTW, poor Katy because the crowd gave her the cold shoulder in this "California Gurls" performance. It being a song "representing" the West Coast and California, it was obviously not going to be hugely supported in NYC lol. Tough situation really (Watch 2:40 - 2:55). She then sang her new single "Teenage Dream". The crowd was more supportive this time. Katy also treated gig-goers with an oldie like her first big hit "I Kissed A Girl". Check it out.

While we still don't know for sure when is Diddy's "Last Train To Paris" set to depart onwards CD retailers, the Hip Hop mogul has decided it's time to release another single from this super-delayed project. And "Loving You No More" featuring Drake seems to be Diddy's pick. The mentioned track apparently leaked last year under the name of "Hurt", but this new version above is reported to be the final and mastered one. I never found out about the older version so this is my first time hearing the track and I have to say that I like it! The electro-R&B ballad sees P.Diddy in full "singer" mode leaving his rap comfort zone for a moment. Kalenna and Dawn's vocals are beyond amazing and Drake, well, he does what he knows best. Diddy knew what he was doing when he asked the Canadian rapper to jump onboard with them in this song. Drake is without a doubt going to help this new single become a hit, or atleast create major BUZZ.

The one & only Kelly Rowland played a private concert for fans at the P.C Richard & Son Theater in New York City on Wednesday - A few fan-recorded videos from this gig have been recently uploaded on the Internet where we can see Ms Rowland performing old hits like a Destiny's Child medley (Say My Name, Soldier, Survivor) or "Like This" (from the "Ms Kelly" album). And who could forget about her monster hit with David Guetta "When Love Takes Over"! Linkin Park's new music video for "The Catalyst" received its world premiere at midnight August 25th via MTV.com. The song serves as the official lead single from the band's upcoming studio album "A Thousand Suns" - in stores on September 14th. The clip was directed by Joe Hahn. The single has peaked thus far at #35 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has got the #1 spot on both Billboard's Rock & Alternative Songs charts. What an interesting little video! Another excellent piece of work by Mr Hahn I must say. Clip starts with bandmate Mike Shinoda sitting inside a car singing the first verses with his face covered by a hood. Then, the shot opens to a foggy environment, showing dozens of people simply wandering, then being attacked by strangers, then we know it's a whole city getting destroyed lol. Eye-catching stuff! And the theme's kinda apocalyptic, right? Awesome video! Just 3 weeks left until LP's new album is released! Can't wait.

Pop diva Kylie Minogue performed her new single "Get Outta My Way" on the results show of America's Got Talent on Wednesday. That's right folks! Princess Kylie is doing promo in the US! Finally! I know her American fans must've felt real excited when watched Kylie last night on the NBC show. Minogue's latest album "Aphrodite" became her best charting LP (debuted at #19) since the 2001-released "Fever", so it was just a matter of time 'til Kylie showed a little love in person to the North American country. Back to her gig on AGT, Kylie absolutely killed it! She looked mega fierce. My only critique would be the choreography! I just loved the old routine. I mean, it was perfect and with a killer swagger. But I guess she simply wanted to bring new stuff for her first American televised performance in a long time. Nevertheless, the routine with the chair was cool. Hopefully this new performance will help Aphrodite's sales in the states. The super catchy single, "Get Outta My Way" will be officially released on September 27th in the UK.

Two days ahead of its official premiere date, the music video for Taylor Swift's new single "Mine" has leaked on the Internet on Wednesday. The Nathan Chapman-produced track serves as Taylor's first single from her upcoming studio album "Speak Now" - in stores on October 25th. The "Mine" videoclip was directed by Roman White who has done most of Carrie Underwood's clips and Kelly Clarkson's "Don't Waste Your Time". The shooting location took place in Kennebunk, Maine (USA) and in the music video you'll see Taylor marrying her boy played by British actor Toby Hemingway and both having a wonderful life. Sweet, cute video! And very Taylor too. It's obvious I'm not going to ask her to do super high-budget productions, with explosions, car chasings, bright lights, killer choreograhies, etc etc etc etc. lol That just wouldn't be Taylor Swift. In any case, this leaked version of music video is not super HQ, it's just okay. It seems some Japanese fan managed a way to get a copy or it simply premiered ahead of time in Japan? Don't think so though...Fishy stuff. The HD version will premiere on August 27th via CMT.

R&B superstar Usher has premiered today the music video for "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love Again", the official first single from his newest "Versus" EP - in stores NOW! The clip was filmed by Japanese director Hiro Murai (BoB's "Airplanes", The Fray's "Heartless"). "DJ" has become another Top 10 for Usher having peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. So congrats are in order for that. As for the videoclip, it's BLAH. Typical club video = cliche, quite dull. Nothing innovative or original about it. The only thing that can be saved is the dancing, Usher's forte. BTW, my version of the song is faster pace. How random?

Katy Perry celebrated the release of her super-anticipated new album this Tuesday with an appearance on The Late show with David Letterman on CBS. The pop star took the stage to perform her latest single "Teenage Dream". Katy sounded pretty good. I guess she learned from the mistakes of the Teen Choice Awards performance. Perry's new studio album could perfectly be one the best pop CD's of the last years and I'm sure that will pay off on the charts when the official sales figures are released next week. Do you think Katy will surpass the 500k mark in its first week? Excited to see the numbers already!

Last year's The X Factor runner-up Olly Murs has been working since early this year in the studio recording his debut album. The record is now fully complete and is expected to be relased at some point this Fall. But what Olly is already promoting is the project's lead single entitled "Please Don't Let Me Go". Murs stopped by UK show GMTV on Wednesday morning to perform it. Solid performance! Not a big fan of this particular song but Olly did his thing here. The single will be officially released in Britain on August 30th.

Just a week before her suicide attempt, R&B star Fantasia stopped by AOL's studios in Los Angeles for a Sessions taping - These performances were finally released on Tuesday - Fanny performed a set consisting of five songs including; "Even Angels", "Bittersweet", "Man of the House", "When I See You" and "Free Yourself". Outstanding job once again by Ms Barrino!! Loving especially the energy of the Man of the House performance, plus I hear this song has been chosen as the official next single. Woop! Fantasia also gave an interview (watch below) where she discusses among other things, her music influences, from Aretha Franklin, Elton John or Prince. On Tuesday, British star Pixie Lott premiered via BBC's Radio One her new single "Broken Arrow" - The Toby Gad production (If I Were A Boy, Big Girls Don't Cry) will serve as the lead single from Pixie's upcoming re-release of her debut CD "Turn It Up" expected to hit stores later in 2010. Ms Lott debuted this new song back in July 20th with a live performance at the 2010 iTunes Festival in London (Watch below). So we already knew it was a ballad. However, here we finally have its studio version. I was actually waiting for this to make a final decision which is...big disappointment with this release. I mean, "Broken Arrow" is a good song, with really moving lyrics an beautifully sung by Pixie, no one doubts that, but I was expecting much more - This gets a tad boring after a few plays. My wish was she'd release an uptempo catchy tune but that didn't happen lol. Anyway, "Broken Arrow" will be released in the UK on October 11th.

R&B songstress Fantasia appeared on ABC's Good Morning America show on Tuesday to promote her new album "Back To Me" - in stores NOW! This is one the high-profile TV appearances Tasia had booked for the promo campaign of her new LP. During the coming weeks, the American Idol winner will appear on popular American shows such as "Lopez Tonight", "Regis & Kelly", "Wendy Williams" or "106th & Park". Back to today's news, Ms Barrino gave her first telivised live performance since her suicide attempt two weeks ago. Fanny took the center stage of GMA's Time Square Studios in NYC. She performed her latest single "Bittersweet". That gave me goosebumps! Fantasia sang her heart out in this live rendition. Later in the show, Fantasia discussed her almost-tragic incident with show host, Robin Roberts, among other things in an in-depth interview. I feel you Fanny! Check this out below.

Check out this new Sara Bareilles song entitled "Hold My Heart", which will be included on her upcoming studio album "Kaleidoscope Heart" in stores on September 7th. What a nice calm melancholic tune. And the chorus is just brilliant. This lovely ballad was premiered on Monday via Whole Foods' Official Blog. The supermarket chain is one of the sponsors of Sara's new "Kaleidoscope Heart" CD and their customers will be able to purchase her LP in any of their stores. Just two weeks left! Can't wait!

R&B crooner Ne-Yo has premiered a new song called "One In A Million". It seems this cut along with "One Life" will be released as the next "singles combo" from his upcoming album "Libra Scale" LP out on October 19th. Ne-Yo has recently shot the music video for "One In A Million" with Wayne Isham (Beautiful Monster, Champagne Life) sitting on the director chair. I wonder if he'll continue dragging out the story of his previous music videos or if he'll come up with new concepts. In any case, not feeling the new song sorry.

R&B star Ciara absolutely killed it at her concert for Power 105.1 FM's "Power Live" festival held at Governors Island in New York on Sunday night - Cici brought the house down with all her stage swagger! Watch in the vid above Ms Harris performing songs like "Pretty Girl Swag" or her latest hits "Gimme Dat" or "Ride". Thanfully this fan-recorded footage is in superb high quality. R&B/pop star Taio Cruz has conquered with his monster song "Dynamite" the charts of different countries such as Canada (#2), New Zealand (#1), Australia (#2) and most importantly in the United States peaking at an amazing #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 (it remains in the Top 10) and even grabbed at some point the top spot on the US iTunes. Now, after two months of heavy promotion, Taio has finally arrived in the UK to kick-off there the promotional campaign in support of "Dynamite". The Dr. Luke & Benny Blanco co-produced track has been officially released in the UK this last Sunday (digitally) and today August 23rd in its physical CD version. "Dynamite" has immediately taken the #1 position on the local iTunes just giving a hint of what to expect next week, that is, "Dynamite" becoming Taio Cruz's second number one hit in his home-country.

Kylie Minogue surprised everybody with a very special gig at "Ring O' Bells" pub in the small town of Compton Martin, Somerset in England last Thursday. "Bewildered locals were alerted to the impromptu concert by a small sign outside the pub which read 'For one night only! Kylie Minogue, Tinie Tempah, tonight!" Ooh lucky them! It seems staff from Kylie's record label, Parlophone, were in the area for a conference and decided to organise this music event. She has been M.I.A for the longest time, but on Saturday R&B songstress Tamia finally returned to the public-eye for a mini-concert at the Summerstage Festival held at Central Park in New York City - Oh em gee! Tamia was amaaaazing! Words can't describe the way I felt when I saw these performances! I remember it was this Monday or Tuesday when I put my Ipod Touch to play in shuffle and "Official Missing You" came on! So many memories came to my head. Can't believe it's been four years since Tamia released an album. She's an incredible singer and I hope she gets the chance or finds a way to record a new LP. That'd rock my world! After the MASSIVE success of her single "I Want To Know What Love Is" in Brazil where it stayed at #1 for a record 27 weeks!!, pop diva Mariah Carey decided to give a very special "thank you" concert for her Brazilian fans aka lambs - The decision was taken by Mimi back in June, and as the anticipation got higher in the Latin American country, the "We Belong Together" singer asked fans via Twitter which songs they wanted to make it into the setlist. The selected location was in the town of Barretos in Sao Paulo and the organization wanted that Mariah took part of the town's famous "Peao de Boiadeiros" (Cowboy Festival). So Mimi arrived in Brazil on Thursday, did some tourism first, and yesterday took a private flight to Barretos. The official setlist of last night's concert was: Butterfly, Daydream, Shake It Off, Touch My Body, My All, Always Be My Baby, It's Like That, I Still Believe, Make It Happen, Love, Hangover/Heartbreaker, Dreamlover, I'll Be There, Obsessed, We Belong, Together, Hero, I Want To Know What Love Is. Only if that was the case of other divas...*cough* Whitney Houston *cough*. BTW, Mimi also looked HUGE! She has gained weight in the past too but this is totally ridiculous. I think the baby rumours may be true this time. In related news, Carey's new Christmas album is reported to be released on November 2nd. It would include six new songs, covers of classics and a new mix of "All I Want for Christmas is You". I can't wait to get this!

UK pop star Alexandra Burke continues making the promotional rounds in support of her newest single "Start Without You" - The RedOne production will be officially released in Britain on September 5th - fingers crossed this becomes the third consecutive Top 10 hit for Alex! The X Factor champ appeared on Saturday night on ITV 1 show "Magic Numbers". First, Ms Burke helped a contestant participating in a live segment of the show (watch below) and later Alexandra returned to the stage to perform the summery "Start Without You". Another solid performance, and she nailed the dancing as well! I'm sad though she still relies on the playback for the song's TV performances. Is the choreography THAT demanding? In any case, we all know Alexandra can sing her behind off any time she wants. She's got the talent. The British star is reportedly set to put out this November a re-release of her debut LP "Overcome" including a couple new songs and remixes.

R&B/Pop stars Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks are featured on the latest episode of MTV's "When I Was 17" show which aired on Saturday - The "In My Head" singer discusses stuff like his way to get girls when he was 17, his favorite Michael Jackson song, his favorite TV shows or his embarrassing car "Jellybean". The Miami, Florida native has enjoyed international success with his debut self-titled album, and each single he's released has become a hit. Jason's latest single "Ridin' Solo" peaked #7 on the US charts and #2 in the UK.

Jordin Sparks - who made her Broadway debut earlier this week on the musical "In The Heights" - is also featured on the MTV show. Jordin talks about how she knew from little she was destined to be a singer. During high-school she even made it into a musical play, for which she took the difficult decision to be home-schooled. Among other stuff, Sparks discusses her desire to get a noise-piercing or the problem with her height and how she adapted to it. Check out the full version of Shontelle's new single "Perfect Nightmare" from her upcoming sophomore album "No Gravity" in stores on September 24th. The Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins-produced track is the Bajan star's choice to be the follow-up to her smash hit "Impossible". I'm loving it! I mean it's no "Impossible" - that song is a classic for me right now. But! "Perfect Nightmare" sounds really good too, and with proper promotion she can make a hit of it! The song starts like ballad until the chorus comes. Then, it explodes into an uptempo pop tune. Very nice! "Perfect Nightmare" is now set to impact mainstream radio in the US on August 31st.

When her new album leaked in full on the Internet a few days ago, I immediately played it and was suprised of how good it was! I had read beforehand some reviews saying it was a full R&B album so I was bit worried if was going to love it or not but thank God it turned out to be the former. Still, Fantasia and her label have selected a difficult date to fight for the top spots on the Billboard chart as next tuesday Katy Perry and Usher also releases a new album and EP, respectively. I'm rooting Fantasia gets atleast into the Top 10! She deserves some good news after all she's gone through these last days.

What a better reason then to celebrate that success with Usher finally giving the first televised performance of the Max Martin-produced song today on GMA live from New York City's Central Park. Smooth presentation and an awesome choreography! He also treated fans with a second performance, this time of his latest worldwide smash hit "OMG". He just kills it everytime he performs that song!

Irish band The Script has recently premiered the music video for "For The First Time", the official first single taken from their upcoming sophomore album "Science & Faith" - in stores on September 10th.

British star Joss Stone has released this new song entitled "Back In Style" (co-produced by Steve Greenwell) which will be used to promote her new Vintage America Collection for Nine West. Joss released back October 2009 her latest CD "Colour Me Free!" that despite receving positive critics it tanked horribly. The album only managed to peak at #75 where her biggest-fan base territory supposedly is, that is, the UK. Now, a few months later, Ms Stone has emerged again onto the music scene with this low-profile release "Back In Style" which I think it's a really nice effort. Pretty simply, piano-driven, soulful, and Joss delivering some sweet vocals. She's really got a fantastic voice. I wonder with what Stone will suprise us in her next album?.

Canadian recording artist Drake premiered last night the music video for "Miss Me", the third single to be lifted from his debut album "Thank Me Later" - available since June 15. The clip for the Lil'Wayne collaboration was shot by none other than Anthony Mandler *sigh*. I think it's time urban artists realize there are other great directors besides Mandler because this new video is a snoozefest...I like the song though. Especially the beats with the trumpets. BTW, I was hoping to see a Nicki Minaj cameo in this video - I mean just read the lyrics xD. But no sight of Barbie Minaj. I guess we'll just have to wait until Drake decides to release "Up All Night" as the new single. "Miss Me" made its debut an at impressive #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 but has steadily dropped places and now stands at #49. A better video would have helped the single but this? NOP.

Rapper T.I performed onstage with Keri Hilson their collabo' "Got Your Back" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday. The DJ Toomp production serves as the first single from the ATL rapper's upcoming album "King Uncaged" due out later in 2010. The project was slated for release on September 28 but T.I said in a recent interview the LP would be pushed back (didn't mention a set date) so he can focus on the promotion of his latest film "Takers" plus the rapper wants to hit the studio again to record a few new songs. Well then, we'll just have to wait a bit more. It better be worth it! In any case, performance on Jimmy Kimmel was nice. Keri looked good in the black-leather outfit. "Got Your Back" has peaked thus far at #38 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Jordin Sparks is set to make her Broadway debut on Tony Award-winning musical "In The Heights" tonight (August 19th) at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in NYC. The American Idol champ stopped by earlier on Thursday at ABC show "Live with Regis & Kelly" to promote the musical. Jordin gave a live rendition of "Breathe" that in the musical would sing as Nina Rosario. Good luck Jordin!

New pop singer Sky Ferreira - who in 2008 got a record deal with EMI/Parlophone due to her Myspace success - has completed the studio work of her debut album and will be ready for release later in 2010. The Portuguese-American artist first released a European single entitled "One" back in June and now Ferreira will put out her first US single in the form of "Obsession". The Ryan Tedder production has made its way to the Internet in FULL earlier on Thursday. I like "One" and I'm LOVING "Obsession". A catchy/fun to sing along pop tune that could easily be a recording from Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" album. Sky Ferreira sings "Obsession" in a similar tone Katy sings "E.T". Looking foward to check out Sky's debut album!

Check out John Legend & The Roots' premiere of their "Wake Up Everybody" music video featuring Melanie Fiona and rapper Common - This remake of the Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes' 1975 classic serves as the first single from Legend's upcoming 60's and 70's covers album entitled "Wake Up!" in stores on September 21st. The clip was shot by director Gil Green in Brooklyn (New York City) back in mid-July.

I mean, dear Alex, you may look stunning and sexy in the video, and I'm sure you had a really good day with all that "male presence" but this clip just doesn't do it for me. I want to see the summery LA video with the blue hot-pants and the ice cream truck! LOL. Don't tell that one will be exclusively for the USA?

British duo The Ting Tings return to the music scene two years after the release of their platinum-certified (UK) debut album "We Started Nothing" - Katie and Jules are set to release their sophomore work "Kunst" in November, being preceded by the first single "Hands" - out on October 11th in the United Kingdom. The new single was premiered last night via BBC's Radio One and Facebook. The 80s-influenced track was penned by the duo themselves and mixed by Calvin Harris. I'm loving this! Don't be fooled by the first listen. You won't immediately be hooked on "Hands" but it'll require a few plays. I'm happy to see The Ting Tings are not afraid to try new sounds, and I think they've done a great job with "Hands". Just can't wait to listen to the other tracks in the album! "What are you supposed to do with two hands!?" lol! Love it!. The Ting Tings actually debuted LIVE the new single back in July at the Wireless Festival in London. Watch their performance below. Sounded powerful live (shame about the quality) but I love the song even more in its studio version!. Enjoy

R&B songstress Keri Hilson has premiered today "Breaking Point", the official first single from her upcoming sophomore album "No Boys Allowed" in stores in late 2010. The new track was penned by Ms Hilson herself and produced by Timbaland. "The song is about that breaking point that every woman gets to when the excuses given by boys are no longer accepted. Keri comments "If you're not man enough to step to the plate, then keep it moving". A music video for "Breaking Point" will be shot in early September. The good side about this song: Love the energy and the passion Keri SINGS it. Lyrics are deep and I'm sure her female-fans will relate so there will be a connection with that segment. And the song is a return to that pure R&B sound from back in the day. The not so positive side: As a whole, let me disagree with this as the first single. It doesn't sound that strong to create that BUZZ - truly needed to get people excited for the album in the early stages. However, as I've said with other "grower" songs. Perhaps a super amazing video can change minds.

Kelly Rowland's brand new UK single entitled "Forever And a Day" has been premiered earlier on Wednesday via BBC's Radio One. The dance-pop tune was co-produced by Jonas and David Guetta. This will be included on Rowland's international edition of her upcoming third LP. For those who hadn't read the news, the former Destiny's Child member commented in a recent interview that her new studio work will have two versions. One for the US with a more R&B-urban sound (e.g Grown Ass Woman) and an overseas/international issue with a more dance-europop style ("Commander", "On & On"). I approve this decision. A proof this is a correct strategy is that the monster song "Commander" did not had the greatest performance on the US charts. Yeah it may have peaked high on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart but not on the real deal which is the Hot 100. In the UK, that single peaked at #9 - decent job but below the expectations IMO.

So after a few months of the "Commander" fever, it's time Kelly moves on and releases the next single. "Forever And A Day" has DJ Guetta's hot club beats, but this time a tad more mellow (almost like a dance-ballad) and it gets deeper lyrics-wise. Not a smash hit to my ears on the first listen. Sounds like a grower. Kelly does SANG! her heart out in the chorus though. Bravo. Maybe a really nice video can help convince me.

"Let's live today like there's no tomorrow. You only get one life". The new single "One Life" will follow-up the dance-urban "Beautiful Monster" which may have only attained a #53 spot in the US but got the #1 in the UK! So clearly Ne-Yo wants to catch America's attention again.

The inevitable just happened - In only six days Katy Perry's new album "Teenage Dream" will see the light of day, so it was just a matter of time until more songs or the entire CD leaked into the Web - In this case, just two more songs have surfaced on the Internet and much to my hapiness they are the two tracks we were all highly-anticipating to hear in full! The first one is "Firework", the *confirmed* third single from Katy's third studio album. Sounded so good from the little snippet and sounds beyond amazing in its entirety! Katy's vocals in the chorus are sooooo powerful and diva-esque. Also love how in the chorus they introduce the "dance" beats (adds lots of energy!), and overall reminds me a bit of Agnes Carlsson' songs.

The next new leak is "Peacock". A fan-favorite that Katy debuted a month ago in the concerts she gave in Malasyia and Singapore. A fun song, nasty lyrics for some, but still something fun that is meant to be obviously provocative. It was THE big candidate for third single choice and even Katy's pick but her label said no! no! no! "They were all a bit worried about the word "c**k" and it gave me deja vu because they did the exact same thing with "I Kissed A Girl". They said, "We don't see it as a single; we don't want it on the album". And I was like, "You guys are idiots". Oh come on people! Make up your minds and release then "Peacock" as fourth single. It's a certified hit. Don't be so conservative. Please? :).

Summing up, I just cannot wait until my copy of "Teenage Dream" (already pre-ordered) arrives to my home in Madrid. Every song that has leaked is a freakin' smash hit. I like this fact. The music video for "Bottoms Up", the collaboration between Trey Songz and Nicki Minaj has finally premiered - via BET. The Kane Beatz-produced track serves as the lead single from Trey's upcoming studio album "Passion, Pain & Pleasure" - in stores on September 14th. The newly debuted videoclip was directed by the usual guy who does most urban videos nowadays, that is, Anthony Mandler. What will see in this music video? Well, it all happens in an undisclosed location, different light colors, a few sexy ladies, Trey Songz in a suit and Nicki sporting her favorite blonde wig. I like "Bottoms Up", especially for Nicki's sick and fun verses! - but the video doesn't do it for me. Just average. Barbie Minaj's facial expressions are priceless though. Trey also shot earlier this month the video for "Can't Be Friends". It should premiere any day now.

Sophie Ellis Bextor has premiered the music video for "Not Giving Up On Love", the official second single from her upcoming fourth studio album "Straight To The Heart" - in stores in October in the UK. The dance/techno/pop tune is a joint venture between the British star and Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren - who is credited for the production - which will be also included on his upcoming CD "Mirage" (September 10). As this normally works, the DJ brings the infectious beats and in this case Sophie delivers the vocals. "Not Giving Up On Love" is just alright IMO. It'll do a great job in the clubs I'm sure, but I don't know if it has it all to fight for the top spots in the Official UK Singles Chart which is Bextor's aim after the dissapointing performance of the previous single "Bittersweet". As for the newly premired video, that I really enjoyed. Sophie looks stunning! It was directed by Sophie Muller and filmed in party-island Ibiza. You'll see Ms Bextor enjoying the sun and the mediterranean sea on a boat and partying the night away in a club.

As promised, here's the radio rip from Natasha Bedingfield's brand new song entitled "Strip Me". The official second single from NB's upcoming album of the same name out later in 2010. The British star stopped by Los Angeles radio 104.3 MYfm on Monday morning to "world premiere" this new tune. The Ryan Tedder production is the follow-up to "Touch" - the extraordinary 1st single that I still can't believe flopped mad hard on the US charts. Back to "Strip Me", from the acoustic performance I posted yesterday, we could hear it as a sweet song very Natasha lyrics-wise. Now with the studio version, we know "Strip Me" is a midtempo tune, that little by little builds into a powerful chorus. la la la la la la. I really like it. Not as commericial as "Touch" obviously, but hey if that didn't work, then you should try releasing different things, right?

American band Maroon 5 have released today, August 17th their new single "Give A Little More" via iTunes. This becomes the second official cut to be lifted from Maroon's upcoming album "Hands All Over" - in stores on September 21st. This is soooooo good! Absolutely loving it! It was definitely worth it waiting for the studio version. "Give A Little More" is a fantastic catchy pop tune, with retro touch, and a killer instrumental work. Plus sounds more mature than "Misery" - in a good way. The music video for the new single will be directed by Paul Hunter (Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl", The Pussycatt Dolls' "Don't Cha"). Scottish singer KT Tunstall has recently premiered the music video for "(Still A) Weirdo". This song serves as the first single in the UK from KT's upcoming third studio album "Tiger Suit" - in stores on September 20th (UK) and September 28th (USA). When I first heard "(Still A) Weirdo" a few days ago I really didn't like it. However, with the pass of days it has grown me and sounds better and better with each listen. So it can be labeled as a "grower" IMO. Still, I don't think it is good enough to have received "single treatment". Sounds too folky to be a hit. The music video is really nice though. Simple and has a nostalgic feeling. BTW, I love how KT Tunstall sings/pronounces "WEIRDOOO". On the other hand, I still believe "Fade Like A Shadow" can become a true hit for the Scottish singer. It has a great energy, lyrics, uplifting, a great chorus and an awesome arrangement. Why not releasing that as the unique first single for all the countries?

Kelly Rowland shot during the last week of July the music video for her latest single "Rose Colored Glasses" - the fantastic midtempo electro-pop ballad produced by Dr Luke - And looks like the R&B/dance star wanted to take her new videoclip a little further as we recently got confirmation that the clip was shot in 3-D! It was directed by British fashion photographer John "Rankin" Wadell (Nelly Furtado's "Say It Right" & Kelis' "Acapella). Peep above a few pictures from the video shoot that have been just released. Kelly looks beyond stunning! Video looks EPIC too. Just by these pictures I have the feeling I'll love it more than the "Commander" one (which was a big disappoinment for me). There's even one photo with Ms Rowland wearing the 3D glasses on! Cute lol. "Rose Colored Glasses" is available for purchase on iTunes since June 28th and has been alredy serviced to Mainstream/Top 40 radio formats in the US.

The incredible Natasha Bedingfield continues making the promotional rounds in support of her upcoming album "Strip Me" (due out this Fall) in the US - Last week, NB appeared on a show of Los Angeles local network KTLA to perform an acoustic version of her *confirmed* next single, the title track, "Strip Me". Amazing song with amazing lyrics! This will serve as the follow-up to "Touch" which I still can't believe flopped hard on the US charts. Let's see how well audience will receive now this midtempo-ballad. The following day to this KTLA performance, Nastasha performed a mini-concert at outdoor shopping community The Americana at Brand in Glendale, California. Among her previous hits like "Unwritten", "These Words", etc, Ms Bedingfield treated gig-goers with a new song included on the upcoming album, it is called "Weightless". Sounds good too! Sounds also uplifting. Although it doesn't seem to me like single material. Love it when Natasha sings acoustically cause then you can truly listen to her incredible voice.

FYI: The UK star announced that the new single "Strip Me" would be premiered in full this morning on LA radio station 104.3 MYfm. Can't wait to listen to the studio version! I'll make a new post as soon as it becomes available. Hopefully someone was listening and ripped it for us.

UK pop act Alexandra Burke stopped by Channel 4's show Alan Carr: Chatty Man on Sunday to give the first performance on TV of her new single "Start Without You" - The RedOne production will be included on Alex's upcoming re-release of her debut CD "Overcome" - expected to hit stores in Britain in November. Ms Burke nailed the performance! She delivered some sexy moves and a fierce attitude. Alexandra will be promoting "Start Without You" (official release September 5th!) along this week in different British TV programmes.

In related news, rumour has it Alexandra will include a new version of "Bad Boys" featuring Nicki Minaj on the "Overcome" re-release. R&B/dance sensation Kelly Rowland and Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias are the latest artists to be featured on MTV's show "When I Was 17". They appear on the episode that aired on Saturday night. Ms Rowland discusses things like going to the prom of a friend, her early bad car driving skills, or her addiction to Aermosmith's hit song "Crazy". Letoya Luckett also appears on Kelly's episode! Remember Kelly will release her third studio album on November 2nd. It has been preceded by singles "Commander", "Grown Ass Woman" or "Rose Colored Glasses", which for the latter Kelly has recently shot a music video in 3-D.

Spanish-born pop star Enrique Iglesias is also featured on MTV's "When I Was 17". The "I Like It" singer talks about his hate for waking up at 7am to go to school or going to prom by himself. Iglesias has a new album entitled "Euphoria" in stores NOW. The follow-up to the hit single "I Like It" (top 5 in the UK and US) will be "Dirty Dancer", a collaboration with R&B crooner Usher. I smell another hit for Mr Iglesias!

R&B/pop singer Alesha Dixon performed on Saturday's series of BBC 1 show Tonight's The Night. The English star gave the first televised performance of her brand new single "Drummer Boy", from her upcoming sophomore album "The Entertainer" out later in 2010. I'm liking just a bit more this song, cause at first I thought it was unbearable to listen. The music video helped a lot. Anyway, back to Alesha's performance on Tonight's The Night!, she did okay-ish IMO in the "Drummer Boy" rendition. Something wasn't right. I felt there was no connection with the audience/viewers. Plus Dixon's outfit was a no! no! and the camera work was awful. However, later in the show, Alesha returned onstage with contestant aka. "the dreamer" Lauren Simister to perform "Valerie", the song Amy Winehouse made famous - although not hers - back in 2007- Now that I loved! Alesha's stage presence and vocals were fantastic. She should try that style in the future.

German eurodance group Cascada - who had their breakthrough with the 2006 smash hit "Everytime We Touch" - are about to return to the music scene with the release of their fouth studio album later in 2010. They released back in March a promo single entitled "Pyromania", saying at the moment "right now we're just trying to bring out a few new and exciting songs to surprise people". Natalie Horler and Co. however continued in the studio recording the new LP and looks like it won't take that long for us to get a copy of it! The official first single from this forthcoming project is entitled "Night Nurse" and has recently hit the Web. Although it is not the final version (unmastered), I'm already loving it! Cascada simply release first-class club songs! They don't play when it comes to "first singles". "Night Nurse" is yet another fantastic electro-pop tune with a catchy hook. I guess we'll be getting the album by the end of this year with the single (can't wait 'til the final version, I'm sure it'll rock even more!) coming either in October/November.

British R&B/pop act Jay Sean has just world premiered the music video for "2012". This Nicki Minaj-assisted track serves as the first single from the Londoner's upcoming fourth studio album "Freeze Time" in stores on November 2nd. The videoclip was directed by Erik White. Check it out.

Only a few days ago Tinie Tempah premiered his newest tune entitled "Written In The Stars" - third single from his upcoming debut CD "The Disc-Overy" (due in October 4th) - and today the London rapper gives fans the official music video. This amazing single featuring Eric Turner will be available for purchase in the UK starting from September 29th. I have no doubt this will be another SMASH HIT for Tinie, after the staggering success of the previous cuts; "Pass Out" (peaked #1) and "Frisky" (peaked #2). By the way, I'm wondering who is behind the production of "Written In The Stars"?, because it sounds freaking EPIC!! Love it, love it, love it! About the recently premiered videoclip, it looks cool. Nothing groundbreaking but it works. Although song truly deserves a high-budget work but if it can't be done, it can't be done. In the clip you'll see Tempah have his Eminem moment a la "Not Afraid" music video with the city's urban landscape on his back.

Just 24 hours have passed since Fantasia Barrino's release from the hospital - after being admitted for a medication overdose. Nevertheless, the R&B star's music career has to continue not matter what. Seems she realized that and last night decided to give fans new music by premiering via her Official Website a new track from her upcoming album "Back To Me" (August 24th) in the form of "The Thrill Is Gone". The powerful R&B midtempo-ballad has got some straight-foward lyrics about the end of a relationship with a lover. A new release that may be too coincidental with Fantasia's controversial affair with Mr Cook? Up to you to decide. In any case, "The Thrill Is Gone" sounds nice, I like but I wouldn't consider it for a second single. Fantasia first put out the buzz single "Even Angels", then "Bittersweet", so I wouldn't like the new single to be something in that same vein. I'm not asking for a club-heavy dance tune, but atleast something a bit more lively.

Glitter-lover Ke$ha brought the party to Rockefeller Plaza in New York City with a mini-concert at The Today Show on Friday. This appearance was scheduled quite a long time so it coincides with the newly released single "Take It Off". The fouth official cut lifted from Ke$ha's "Animal" CD. Besides sinnging the new single, the Nashville native also performed her previous hit songs "Your Love Is My Drug" and "Tik Tok". For Ke$ha fans in the states, just a reminder that she's currently opening for Rihanna's "Last Girl On Earth" Tour, so if you haven't gone yet go get your tickets ASAP because the tour finalizes by the end of August. In related news, Ke$ha has recently made public her desire to record a duet with Rihanna for her sophomore album.

Katy Perry has taken this week the promotional trail in support of her upcoming CD "Teenage Dream" (August 24th) to the land down under. The pop star concluded her promo campaign in Australia with a mini-concert on morning-show Sunrise on Friday. The setlist included the following: The latest single "Teenage Dream", the project's lead cut "California Gurls", and finally an "oldie" like "Hot & Cold". Katy - sporting her favourite blue wig - redeemed herself after the ear-hurting performance last weekend at the Teen Choice Awards. This time she gave a full show with solid vocals. The new single "Teenage Dream" has peaked thus far #4 in Australia and #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 back in the US. She's definitely conquering the charts around the globe! 2010 is going to her year for sure. BTW, in an interview later in "Sunrise" show today, Katy also commented she's already in "pre-production" of her upcoming music video shoot for the next single "Firework". She's looking for concepts and ideas for the clip. Can't wait! I'm rooting "Peacock" will follow up though.

The super talented Sara Bareilles puts her own spin on Beyonce's smash hit "Single Ladies" on the latest series of Billboard's Mashup Mondays. I've seen so many covers of this song, some pretty good and others average. Sara's version has to be definitely one of the best. Loved the arrangement they did, and Ms Bareilles' vocals were just stunning. She sang "Singles Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" beautifully and put such passion/emotion on the performance. The Scissor Sisters go all colorful in their new music video for "Any Which Way", the official second single from the group's latest album "Night Work" in stores since June. This Stuart Price production has to be one of the highlights of that album. I love it!. So happy it received single treatment. Some of you may not know this, but pop diva Kylie Minogue sings backup in the song. Yep! The Australian star even joined Scissor Sisters onstage at this year's Glastonbury Festival to sing "Any Which Way" together (Watch the video below). The song sounds incredible live. How amazing would it be if they re-record the track to properly feature Kylie Minogue? They could even make an alternative video!! Too much to ask? lol. But it'd definitely rock! As for the newly premiered video, I really like. Colorful, fun, and just Scissor Sisters bringing their most pop side, perhaps something that wasn't obviously displayed in the "Fire With Fire" video.

Back in July there were rumours Latin diva Jennifer Lopez had recorded new vocals for the remix of Taio Cruz' hit single "Dynamite". Time passed and no sight of this super anticipated remix - since it's been quite a long time we had no brand new music by J.Lo. But the wait is over! as the "Dynamite" REMIX has just hit the Web! It kinda coincided with the airing of Taio Cruz' appearence on BET's 106th & Park last night and then the Jennifer Lopez-assisted track leaked. What do you think? I really like it. This proves Jennifer's true talent really shows up when it comes to uptempo tunes. She brings a fresh energy. As you may know this remix was possible thanks that both artists are now part of the same label, Def Jam - after Lopez' departure from Sony Music Epic. Now the question would be, we saw first Taio premeired the official video for "Dynamite" not so long ago, so do you think they'll make a new video for the remix? I'd love to see that! Jennifer needs to get moving after reading the news she was axed from a possible American Idol judging seat.

Kanye West stopped by Angie Martinez's radio show at New York's Hot 97 on Wednesday to world premiere a new track off his upcoming album - reported to be titled "Dark Twisted Fantasy" - in stores this November. The new recording is called "See Me Now" and features R&B diva Beyonce and Charlie Wilson. West told Angie Martinez that Beyonce'S vocals were recorded at 5am this morning!! That's how fresh out of the oven this song is. I'm personally loving it! I mean, anything that has B' in it can't be bad. No doubt Kanye will release this as a single in a near future. Such a combination will make this collaboration a certified hit. Plus I hear this is not the final mastered version so there'll be even place for improvement. Love the song's vibe.

Tempah just keeps releasing hit after hit. He had with "Pass Out" his first number one single in the UK and with "Frisky" a #2 hit, and no doubt he'll score yet another Top 5 smash with "Written In The Stars".

M.I.A has finally decided to premiere the music video for "XXXO", the official lead single from her newest album "Maya" available since July. Just so you remember this single was released back in May! LOL. I simply can't undertand why has M.I.A or her label taken soooooooooo long to premiere this. Four months sound like a ridiculous waiting time for me. Anyway, I just watched the videoclip in its entirety and well, was it worth the wait? No. Will I hate on M.I.A for what she has delivered in the video? No. Call me crazy but part of me was expecting this, something so...bizarre to say the least. It's like artistic terrorism. I know she wanted to create a very "conceptual" video but this just doesn't sell the song. But hey, it's M.I.A we're talking about here. It is the director with whom I am upset. I can't believe Hype Williams (the man behind videos such us Jay-Z's "Empire State of Mind", Kanye's "Stronger" or Aaliyah's "Rock The Boat") agreed to put together something like this. In the end, the music video can't change much. "XXXO" is a big flop so the album "Maya" is. M.I.A better release something solid next if she doesn't want the project to die.

One of Germany's most international pop groups, Monrose has just premiered the music video for "This Is Me" - the official second single from their fourth studio album entitled "Ladylike" - in stores since June 11 on German-speaking Europe. The new single was selected a couple weeks ago when Monrose lauched a poll on their Official Website where they asked fans to vote for their favorite song on the new album "Ladylike". And well, "This Is Me" was supported by 39% of the voting. Its music video just got debuted on German television and can be seen above. I guess Monrose's label has cut them off of the big budgets for clips. I'm not liking the video. Even if you have a small budget you can still find some creative ideas and make it work. In this newly premiered vid - shot in Berlin - you'll see Monrose leaving their house and going to random places and looking straight into the camera. I like the song though! Mellow dance-pop tune with empowering lyrics.

Girlicious, the Robin Antin-formed trio composed by Nichole, Natalie and Chrystina, may have had two flopped singles with "Over You" and "Maniac", but that doesn't mean they're going to give up. No! No! Girlicious have just released a new single from their upcoming sophomore album "Rebuilt" (out later in 2010), which becomes the third official cut from this oft-delayed CD, and it's titled "2 In The Morning". The new single will serviced to Canadian radios on Monday. What do you think? It's not bad, or amazing. It has a pretty cool chorus yeah, but doesn't scream "smash hit" to me. I still can't believe "Maniac" flopped in Canada. It sounded incredible. Pop star Katy Perry has premiered at noon this Tuesday via MTV the music video for "Teenage Dream", the title track and second single from Perry's upcoming third album in stores on August 24th. Just two weeks left! Fell in love with this new song from the first listen and I've been impatiently waiting to see what Katy would give us in its videoclip. The result is...amazing! Katy and her lover driving to Cali as the song says, just free of worries, enjoying life, and once there, have an intimate passionate time in a hostel to then party the night away. The music video was shot in Santa Barbara back in the month of July. Big kudoz to Yoann Lemoine, the director and four-time Cannes Festival winner - for the way he shot the video. It has a nostalgic feeling, doesn't it? And we get to see a more raw and vulnerable side of Katy. In short, fantastic work!

PS: To Russell Brand, if I were you, I wouldn't want to watch this video in particular lol.

This becomes the fifth track in full that we have from Perry's upcoming studio album "Teenage Dream" in stores on August 24th. Oooh another smash hit! This CD is going to be beyond amazing! Katy goes hard lyrics-wise in "Circle The Drain". An example is, "I Wanna Be Your Lover, Not Your Fuckin' Mother" lol. Fuck yeah Katy! You tell him! Listening to the entire new tune, who do you think she could be referring to? *cough* Travie McCoy *cough*. I'm telling you thanks to this clever campaign with the promo singles, and each released song being a certified smash, Katy could perfectly have one of the most sold albums this year with "Teenage Dream". Can't wait to get my copy!

The 2010 Teen Choice Awards were held and taped on Sunday at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City and aired on Monday via FOX. Top pop stars like Katy Perry, Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber or Travie McCoy (with Bruno Mars) performed at this year's ceremony. Watch all the performances in this same entry. Ms Perry did not only host the 2010 edition of the awards but also took the center stage to give the first televised performance of her newest single "Teenage Dream". Big Katy fan right here but truth must be spoken and the "I Kissed A Girl" singer sounded awful in this performance. She kinda pulled it together towards the end but overall it wasn't her night. Still love the song though :). BTW, the Teenage Dream video premieres today!

Jason Derulo performed his smash hit "In My Head". Get over that freakin' song and do Ridin' Solo!. Anyway, choreography was cool!, vocals not so much lol. Canadian superstar Justin Bieber took home four awards. He did not attend the show as he was on tour but we could see NBA star Shaquille O'Neal hand him the awards and next Bieber treated fans with a performance of his next confirmed single "U Smile". Finally, Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars performed their Top 5 hit collaboration "Billionaire". Solid as usual.

British Virgin Islands-born star Iyaz meets the love of his life in the newly premiered music video for "So Big", the third official single from his debut album "Replay" in stores in the US on September 21st via Beluga Heights Records. First time I hear this song and I like. Although the chorus reminds me A LOT to another song that I just can't picture now. Any ideas? Video is pretty good too. So nice of Iyaz to stand up and defend her girl when that "rude boy" bothers her. Iyaz has actually already released his album in the UK back in June, however, it did not lived up to the expectation of successful singles "Replay" (UK #1) and "Solo" (UK #3) as the CD only peaked at #26. Let's wait and see how well it'll do in America now.

Country princess Taylor Swift and R&B songstress Keri Hilson were among the many international acts that performed at the 2010 edition of the Summer Sonic Festival held the last weekend in Japan - one of the biggest music festivals in the world. Swift was the first to took the stage at the Chiba Marine Stadium in Tokyo. Watch in the video above Taylor performing her hit single "Love Story". Cute dress. The Country star recently premiered the first single from her upcoming album "Speak Now" (October 25), entitled "Mine". It rocketed to #1 on US itunes, and it's expected to exceed the 350k digital downloads in its first week.

Keri Hilson also performed at the Summer Sonic Festival for her Japanese fans. She did a set that included songs from her debut solo album "In A Perfect World", such as "Slow Dance", "Energy" or "Turnin' Me On", but also treated gig-goers with a special performance of her Timbaland collaboration "The Way I Are". The Saturdays have just officially released their latest single "Missing You" in the UK - digital version last Sunday and CD copy today - The electro-pop ballad has managed to peak thus far at an amazing #2 position on the local iTunes - only beaten by Flo Rida's "Club Can't Handle Me". Frankie and Co. can already celebrate 'cause if the single's sales remain this strong no doubt "Missing You" will debut within the Top 10 or better yet Top 5 when the Official UK Singles Chart is updated next week.

However, they are already preppin' the release of the second single from The Saturday's newest EP "Headlines" (August 16th). Rochelle confirmed the next release in an interview a few days ago: "Our next single "Higher" is a classic Saturdays pop tune, along the lines of Up and Ego". I'm so happy with the choice! I just downloaded their EP (it leaked yesterday, just Google it) and I was pleasantly suprised. "Karma" and "Puppet" are other great tracks but I'd like to see "Higher" be released first. It's a poppy uptempo tune, catchy, and with a great energy. Wiseman also reavaled they plan to shoot its music video in "four weeks".

Queen of K-Pop (Korean Pop), BoA has just premiered the music video for her incredibly amazing comeback single "Hurricane Venus". This song can be found on her newest LP of the same title name that was released in South Korea on Thursday, August 5th. You may be saying BoA who? Perhaps you remember her from songs like "Eat You Up" or "I Did It For Love" from her first English record released internationally in early 2009. It may have flopped hard in America but the album had some really good tracks. Anyway, I only knew BoA from that album and didn't know her amazing run in the K-pop industry back in her home country.

So I did my homework, and found out that BoA hadn't released an album in South Korea in five years! So after her international failure, she hit back to the studio to record her highly-anticipted new K-Pop album. Expectation about her official return was so huge in the Asian country that her "comeback performance" a few days ago at popular weekly music show "Music Bank" was the #1 Trending Topic worldwide in Twitter! So you know I had to hear her new stuff. And now I'm loving this "Hurricane Venus" song and its newly premiered music video is just visually amazing! I see big budget there! Awesome futuristic locations, the costumes, the Matrix effects, the dancing, everything was so cool! I may not speak any Korean, but I'm digging the music she does in her mother-tongue. I'll definitely check out her new album now!

Check out this brand new Natasha Bedingfield tune entitled "D.I.Y" - confirmed to be from the recording sessions of her upcoming album "Strip Me" - in stores in November. Very nice midtempo ballad. Relaxed vocals, uplifting sounding chorus and nice lyrics, trademark of Natasha. I'm so looking foward to listen her new album. Sad we have to wail until November though. With "Touch" being released in April, I thought September would be maximum deadline for the release. Looks like the lead single is not that having a great reception, ain't peaking/selling as expected. I guess we'll have a new single before the CD comes out.

Former Danity Kane member and current female "back-up singer" of Diddy-Dirty Money, Dawn Richard doesn't want to give up on her soloist career. A new song entitled "Bottles" has surfaced on the Internet, featuring Miami rapper Trina. A snippet leaked last week. Internet rumours say this heavy urban joint is the first single of Dawn's upcoming debut solo album "A-Tell Tale Heart" but I don't think so. Ms Richard has too much going on right now with Diddy's Dirty Money trio, their album "Last Train To Paris" ain't out yet, so I don't know. I think "Bottles" is just an unreleased record she simply wants to put out for her fans.

Back in May, Kelly Clarkson was busy playing the last concerts of the Asian leg of the All I Ever Wanted World Tour - however the pop star decided to take some time off and make an appearence on Superstar K - the American Idol of South Korea. Kelly taped the show in May and her episode finally aired this Friday.

You can see in the video above that, at first, Ms Clarkson pretends she's auditioning for Superstar K - please look at the suprise faces of the panelists at 22-sec mark! LOL Who could actually believe that the one and only Kelly Clarkson would be there to audition? Did those guys now knew who she was? Come on! The "Since U Been Gone" singer then reveals she's there to guest judge. Anyway, after this hilarious moment, she took her seat and the real auditions began. She did really good! Clarkson was an excellent judge, being straight-foward with the awful singers and giving constructive critiscm to the ones who had potential.

In music related news, Kelly Clarkson continues recording in the studio what will be her fifth album. She has confirmed to be working with producer Toby Gad (The Veronicas, Alicia Keys) and with Claude Kelly (writer of "My Life Would Suck Without You"). Word has it this project is well advanced, and that the first single could be released in October with the album coming out before the end of the year.

British pop group The Saturdays celebrate today, August 8, the official release in the UK of their newest single "Missing You" which can also be found on the upcoming EP "Headlines" (August 16th). The electro-pop ballad can be downloaded as of Sunday from any official digital platform. It is quickly climbing positions on the UK iTunes (about to enter the Top 30). Frankie, Rochelle, Una, Vanessa and Mollie keep promoting "Missing You" in different TV shows in Britain and their latest stop was on Saturday with a performance on ITV 1's daytime show "Magic Numbers". Watch The Sat's performance in the video above. The girls sported some matching golden dresses, nailed the chorepraphy but unfortunately keep miming. Boo!

English singer Ellie Goulding is also releasing a new single today. "The Writer" serves as the FOURTH official cut to be released from her debut album "Lights". Goulding performed it at The National Lottery on Saturday. She was amazing! I wasn't a big fan of this song at first but after watching a series of acoustic performances of Ellie singing "The Writer" I have found new respect for her and love for this lovely ballad.

Newcomer Bruno Mars opened up for K'naan at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. The Hawaiian-born singer performed live his latest single "Just The Way You Are", the first official cut from his upcoming debut album due out later in 2010 via Elektra Records. Well, I gotta admit it, Bruno has proved me wrong. "Just The Way You Are" has clearly made a connection with the US audience as his powerful R&B ballad has managed to peak thus far #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is about to enter the Top 10 on the US iTunes. I'm too loving this song now after playing it for a few days. It was grower for me but now it's one of my favorite slow jamz of the moment. I was doubting at first if this was the best first single choice for him but it turned out it was as JTWYA is doing so far an amazing job on the charts. I wish Bruno the best as he's ultra talented. And that talent was again showcasted at his short gig at the House of Blues. The song sounded amazing live and Mars sang it incredibly. The crowd seemed to have loved it too! Check out the premiere of Alesha Dixon's "Drummer Boy" music video. This serves as the first single from her upcoming sophomore album - now titled - "The Entertainer" in stores later in 2010. The new videoclip was directed by Ray Kay (Justin Bieber, Cheryl Cole) and filmed in Los Angeles. Now this is what I'm talking about! This is the music video Alesha needed to do to sell the song and make fans - who were undecided like me - like the single better. Colorful, fierce, over 7 different costume changes - all hot - and great choreographies = visually catching video! Good job Ms Dixon.
