New Song: Wale - 'Love Hate Thing'
Wale's single 'Bad' has been tearing up the charts with the number one spot on Urban National Airplay and even breaking the Top 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. This morning the MMG rapper returns to us with the follow up single titled 'Love Hate Thing'. The soulful tune shows off Wale's storytelling skills over a Marvin Gaye sample.
The track touches on several relatable topics just like Wale described on twitter: "The idea behind "lovehate thing" is what comes with shine.Passive aggressive hate from those closest to u. I feel like everybody can relate". He also mentioned on twitter he might be releasing a Just Blaze-produced track this Wednesday so stay tuned.
'Love Hate Thing' will be featured on Wale's upcoming album 'The Gifted', which is set to be released on June 25th. Expect a tracklist in the coming weeks. Pre-order here and listen below.
