New Song: Lana Del Rey - 'Young & Beautiful'
'The Great Gatsby' movie soundtrack hit iTunes for pre-order earlier tonight and along with that also came the full version of Lana Del Rey's contribution 'Young & Beautiful'. 'Young & Beautiful' will be used as the lead single so don't be surprised to turn on the radio and hear Lana's voice. Definitely feeling the cinematic vibe this track gives off.
Jay-Z, who is executive producing the soundtrack, has recruited quite a cast to musically back up the Baz Luhramann-directed movie. Along with a record from Jay-Z himself, Beyonce, Andre 3000, Fergie, Q-Tip, Nero, Will.I.Am, Gotye and others all make contributions. I haven't see the movie as it doesn't hit theaters till May 10th, but judging from the various trailers this song is a appropriate fit on the project. Pretty excited to hear what Will.I.Am and Jay-Z have to bring to the table.
'The Great Gatsby' soundtrack will be available on iTunes on May 7th, three days before the release of the movie. Don't remember the last time I saw a disappointing Leonardo DiCaprio movie, so just like the soundtrack, I will be tuning in. Take a listen to Lana Del Rey's 'Young & Beautiful' below.
