New Song: Jessie J - 'Magnetic' [Full]
You see?. Jessie J is (still) capable of recording good songs! After premiering on Monday the worst single of her career, new hope is found in this new song called "Magnetic". The powerful synth pop number is Jessie J's contribution to the soundtrack of upcoming fantasy film "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones". The album is slated to hit stores on August 20 via Republic Records, with the Harald Zwart-directed movie opening in theaters the following day.
Jessie J's new single "It's My Party", from her upcoming second studio album, has seriously hurt her career. Although, the single doesn't get released in the UK till next September 15th, we don't need a crytal ball to predict it will flop on the charts, this her label forcing her to re-record part of the album. But thanks to "Magnetic" - which premiered online in full today (August 7) - I now realize Jessie J may be able to change things for good, if she wants to. "Wild" and "It's My Party" aren't doing it for me - a common opinion by many others, just take a look at other blogs - but "Magnetic" is proof Jessie J can still do things right. "Magnetic" is AMAZING. Miles better than her OFFICIAL two singles mentioned above. It's powerful, vocals are kind of more 'controlled', the production is rich, and I am loving Jessie J's verses in particular. This is good stuff.
