New Song: J. Cole - 'Cole Summer'
Just as promised earlier in the night on Twitter, J. Cole delivers with new content in form of a track titled 'Cole Summer'. The tune, which was dropped via his DreamVillain blog, comes tagged along with the message of "Few Days to finish the album then off to Mixing. Here’s some thoughts. Cole Summer." Glad to hear he's finishing up the album and there won't be anymore delays.
Nothing to crazy about this record, just a real smooth joint to keep us fans happy until the release of 'Born Sinner'. Cole says it himself in the beginning of the song: "Now this right here is not a preview of what the album gon' bring you". We still have two months to go till the release of 'Born Sinner' so do expect a follow up single to 'Power Trip' in the coming weeks.
Cole's sophomore effort 'Born Sinner' is set to hit stores on June 25th. Seems like the Roc Nation signee has just been on a winning streak with these recent releases and this record, 'Cole Summer', fits that same script. Take a listen below.
