Cher Lloyd Is Back With New Single "Sirens", And It's A Big Ballad!
What an unexpected sound from Cher Lloyd! The British pop singer world premiered on SiriusXM Hits on Friday (March 14th) her brand new single called "Sirens". The dance-ballad is taken from Cher's forthcoming second studio album "Sorry I'm Late", which will arrive in stores and digital platforms on May 27th via Epic Records.
A big-sounding dance-ballad doesn't sound too Cher Lloyd, does it? I was left speechless when I heard the chorus of "Sirens". Cher belts those vocals like her life depends on it! The song's really nice! I like the production, and lyrics, dnd, of course, the fact that it shows Cher is maturing vocally too. My only fear is how well will "Sirens" fit in the summer. Hopefully there will be a room for this song. I mean, the easiest road for Cher is to have come up with another catchy pop song (a real hit, not like "I Wish") and score a new Top 20 hit in the US again, but she's taking risks with "Sirens" and I appreciate that.
