New Music: Tyler, The Creator (feat. Lil Wayne & Kanye West) – ‘Smuckers’
Tyler, The Creator has decided to follow in the footsteps of Kendrick Lamar and others by releasing a full length LP on short notice. Titled ‘Cherry Bomb’, the project contains a total of thirteen tracks from the California-born artist; with several of them spanning over five minutes in length.
One of those tracks lasting over five minutes in length is a collaboration with Kanye West and Lil Wayne entitled ‘Smuckers’. The song rests at the no. 11 spot on the album tracklisting and features 'Ye spitting a super long verse as well as Tyler and Wayne swapping bars.
"Nike gave a lot of n*ggas checks but I'm the only n*gga to ever check Nike / Richer than white people with black kids, scarier than black people with ideas" raps Kanye over the midtempo instrumental.
