New Music: T-Pain (ft. Juicy J) - "Make That Shit Work"(New Twerk Anthem! )
T-Pain is back in action. After releasing the “The Iron Way” mixtape in March, the auto-tune king plans to drop his fifth studio album “Stoicville: The Phoenix” (follow-up to 2011’s “Revolver”) later this year.
The first single is going to be this Juicy J-assisted club-ready anthem titled “Make That Shit Work” which premiered on Sunday night (June 7).
Produced by DJ Mustard (I thought he was taking a sabbatical or something. So long since I hadn’t heard a production from him), the new T-Pain single is an uptempo track whose theme is one of the most exploited ones in the urban scene; twerking. There just can’t be too many twerk anthems I see?
Well thought by T-Pain to recruit Juicy J for “Make That Shit Work”. The two sound great in the same song, and they really make the DJ Mustard-produce beat shine.
Does this smell like a monster smash to me? Not right now, but summer is around the corner and this could become an unexpected club jam so who knows! The beat is dope.
