New Music: The Weeknd - 'Drinks On Us' (Remix)
After a preview on Instagram a few days ago, The Weeknd unleashes the full version of his remix to Swae Lee and Future's 'Drink On Us' collaboration. The original version of the track is found on producer Mike Will Made It's 'Ransom' mixtape released in late 2014.
'Drinks On Us' was tailor-made for The Weeknd. Keeping Swae Lee (of Rae Sremmurd) and Future's verse intact, the singer adds on a opening verse with his signature vocals. "I popped a couple pills, I think that I'm DeVante" flaunts The Weeknd, dropping a Jodeci reference.
More new music from The Weeknd is headed in our direction by way of the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' motion picture soundtrack. In addition to 'Earned It', the Toronto crooner has a unheard track called 'Where You Belong' on the 16-track project. Expect to hear that tune on or before February 10th.
