New Music: SZA (feat. Kendrick Lamar) - 'Babylon'
With SZA's debut project 'Z' set to impact iTunes at midnight tonight (April 8th), we get a listen to one more leak titled 'Babylon'. The DJ Dahi-produced track was originally released back in March with a music video but this updated version now features a additional verse from SZA's fellow TDE signee Kendrick Lamar.
"I notice people got Napoleon complex but that's my confession. You said that we're equal but I know you're beyond gassing that I'm beyond desperate" raps Kendrick Lamar over the soulful instrumental. 'Babylon' is the first time SZA and Kendrick have come together to collaborate since the 23-year old singer signed to TDE last Summer. You can expect more from these two artists in the coming future.
'Z', which features tracks such as 'Childs Play' and 'Sweet November', can be pre-ordered now on iTunes. Along with Kendrick Lamar, the 10-track project contains additional guest verses from Isaiah Rashad and Chance The Rapper. Take a listen to 'Babylon' below.
