New Music: Priyanka Chopra - 'I Can't Make You Love Me' (Review)

Bollywood Goddess Priyanka Chopra is back in the scene with her first single in 10 months. Priyanka's 'I Can't Make You Love Me' is a RedOne-produced dance-pop remake of the 1991 Bonnie Raitt classic. Interscope released Chopra's new single on iTunes today, April 22. But before you buy, make up your mind with the stream below.

Priyanka's 'Exotic' was so my summer jam last year. Everything about that song was fantastic (even the Pitbull feature!) and she looked drop-dead hot in the music video. Unfortunately, the follow-up 'I Can't Make You Love Me' is such a disappointment. Why a cover? Why not something new and fresh and exciting for the summer?

To make things worse, Ester Dean recorded the demo for the RedOne remake of 'I Can't Make You Love Me', and that demo leaked last year. So having heard Ester's version, and now Priyanka's and having to make an obvious comparison between the two, it all adds up to getting a 'less exciting' feeling from the song. It feels dated, and dull now.

To say at least one positive thing about Priyanka's 'I Can't Make You Love Me'... well, she definitely sounds pretty in it. But she needs to come up with something hotter!
