New Music: Pharrell - "Here"
Well, hello there, big vocalist Pharrell? Pharrell sings like we've never ever heard him before sing in "Here", his contribution to the soundtrack of 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2', which hits stores April 22nd (Columbia). The movie is out May 2nd.
The big ballad "Here" is produced and written by Pharrell. And it's quite amazing! Production (it has violins!) is great, and Pharrell's vocals are impressive. Not 'let me do a back flip' impressive, but I certainly didn't know he could pull something like this.
The lyrics in "Here" talk about two former lovers whose paths cross again; life giving them a second shot to be happy together. "It seems we're here again/This is the right trajection", sings the 'Blurred Lines' producer in the slow jam.
