Look who are back! It's Matchbox Twenty! It was 2007 when the Rob Thomas-led band released their last album, remember? It was called "Exile on Mainstream", although it was really more of a compilation album featuring seven new songs. Anyway, Rob had actually released a solo album two years before, and two years after he put out his last solo CD called "Cradlesong", although that wasn't as successful as the first one, and well, it semi-flopped, with none of the singles cracking the Top 10, and the set couldn't even sell the 500,000 copies (Gold certification) 'critical' mark. So, for the last few years, everything went silent...until early 2012 when the whole of Matchbox Twenty announced a 'reunion' was happening along with a brand new album. "North" won't be out until September 4 (Atlantic), but the first single is here now! Exclusively world premiered via AOL today, "She's So Mean" sounds like the perfect summer pop-rock jam. It's got attitude! How crazy deep does Rob's voice sound by the way?. Best of luck!
