New Music: Martina McBride (feat. Kelly Clarkson) - "In The Basement" [Studio]
Martina McBride will release her 12th studio album "Everlasting" this April 8th (via Kobalt), but "Everlasting" ain't your ordinary album. Instead of recording originals for it, what Martina did, was to record twelve R&B-soul covers.
One of those covers is Etta James' "In The Basement", and Martina recorded it as a duet with Kelly Clarkson. Kelly's husband, Brandon Blackstock, is Reba McEntire's stepson, Should she be recording duets only with Queen Reba, then?
In any case, Martina and Kelly's cover of "In The Basement" is just sweet. Martina's good, but Kelly's flawless soulful vocals simply steal the show!
