New Music: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - "Downtown" [Audio + Music Video Premiere!]
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis world premiered this Thursday morning (August 27th), via an exclusive deal with iHeartRadio, their brand new single "Downtown". The upbeat rap record, featuring an infectious groovy production, is the official lead single ("Growing Up" was just a tribute song from Macklemore to her newly-born first child) from the dynamic duo's forthcoming second collaborative album, which will be released across the world later in 2015 via Warner Bros. Records.
"Downtown" was evidently entirely produced by Ryan Lewis and is only performed by Seattle's very own Macklemore - no features in their lead single this time. The sound of "Downtown" is giving me serious Bruno Mars meets Fun. meets Missy Eliott and I'm loving this mix!
