New Music: Lupe Fiasco (feat. Ty Dolla $ign) - 'Snitches' + 'Snitches 2'
Lupe Fiasco and Ty Dolla $ign teased a collaboration together on Twitter a few weeks back and tonight (Feb. 26th) the duo give us a listen to what they worked up. The track, titled 'Snitches', will appear on Lupe's forthcoming highly anticipated fifth solo LP 'Testuo & Youth'.
Not only does Ty Dolla $ign handle the hook on 'Snitches', but he produced the radio-friendly song as well. Outkast fans will recognize the sample on the beat as it comes from their popular single 'Rosa Parks'. The phone conversation Lupe and Ty Dolla have at the beginning of the song is reminiscent of how Andre 3K and Big Boi start their music video for 'Rosa Parks' as well.
'Testuo & Youth' is scheduled to arrive in stores later this year via Atlantic Records. The album is led by Lupe's Ed Sheeran-assisted single 'Old School Love' and is rumored to feature collaborations with Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Big K.R.I.T, and others.
