New Music: Lupe Fiasco (feat. Nikki Jean) - 'Haile Selassie'

Delays are a thing of the past for Lupe Fiasco. The Chicago-bred artist promised new music today and delivers on his word with the release of 'Haile Selassie' featuring Minnesota singer Nikki Jean. The track will presumably land on Lupe's forthcoming mixtape 'Lost In The Atlantic', a precursor to his long awaited fifth studio album 'Testuo & Youth'.

Produced by Soundtrakk, 'Haile Selassie' is Lupe in his finest form rapping about the everyday real life issue of inequality. The track is named after the last emperor of Ethiopia, who also went by the name of "Might of the Trinity." Nikki Jean adds a nice touch with her smooth vocals and proves Lupe correct in his decision of choosing her.

'Testuo & Youth' is scheduled to arrive on January 20th, 2015. 'Lost In The Atlantic' is expected out before that date. 'Hailie Selassie' is the second release from that mixtape, with the first being 'Lilies' last week. Stream Lupe's new track below.
