New Music: Lil Wayne - 'Street Chains'
In case you haven’t heard by now, Lil Wayne has a partnership with Jay Z’s TIDAL streaming service. The New Orleans rapper made use of that earlier today with the premiere of a bonus cut from his recently released project ‘Free Weezy Album’. Titled 'Street Chains', the track is produced by StreetRunner and Tarik.
’Street Chains’ is up to par with the quality of ‘Free Weezy Album’ so we’re not sure why the track didn’t make the final cut. ‘FWA’, which dropped on the 4th of July, comes with 15 songs from the veteran artist and guest features by Wiz Khalifa, Jeezy, Jim Jones, and more.
Next up for Lil Wayne is his Lil' Weezyana festival in New Orleans on August 28th. That event will be streamed live courtesy of TIDAL and will include a reunion of his group, the Hot Boys (No B.G.). Take a listen to ‘Street Chains’ below.
