The song is taken from KC's upcoming "Greatest Hits: Chapter One" CD (in stores November 12. Make your pre-orders now!), it was co-written by Blu Sanders, Natalie Hemby and Lindsay Chapman, and 'Don't Rush' is simply an exquisite old school-feeling country record. I adore it! Everything is 'pleasure to ears' in this song. From the soulfulness and softness in Kelly's voice, the limited yet very nice and fitting Vince Gill adlibs, to the laidback country/rock-ish instrumentation, and the loving lyrics. 'Don't Rush' is going to S.L.A.Y the country charts. I just know it. And what an intelligent move by RCA to release this officially. Kelly's collaboration with Jason Aldean "Don't You Wanna Stay" was a hit last year, so why not keeping up with the country singles, huh?. KC and Vince will perform "Don't Rush" at the 2012 CMAs.
