New Music: Kanye West - 'Say You Will' / 'When I See It'
Kanye West has been quiet on the music side of things as of late but makes his return today with the release of 'Say You Will' and 'When I See It'. The former is a re-release of his '808s & Heartbreak' album intro with a few additions and the latter is a remix of The Weeknd's 'Tell Your Friends' renamed 'When I See It'. Both were uploaded by 'Ye without any warning on his Soundcloud page.
The re-release of 'Say You Will' now features violinist Caroline Shaw, who actually performed with 'Ye at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in San Francisco. Kanye finds no trouble adding to The Weeknd's 'Tell Your Friends' as he also did produced the track himself. Now if we could just get the studio version of 'Wolves'.
Kanye is currently working on his next studio LP 'SWISH'. In an interview last month with Vanity Fair, the Chicago native was asked if it could be another year till we see the project finally put out. He responded, "I’m not sure. I’m not worried about the years. I’m worried about the life and the body of work that I can put out while I’m breathing."
