New Music: Justin Bieber (feat. Lil Wayne) - 'Backpack' / (feat. Future) - 'What's Hatnin'
After giving us snippets on Instagram earlier in the week, we now get a listen to the full studio version of Justin Bieber's 'What’s Hatnin' featuring Future and 'Backpack' featuring Lil Wayne. Both records will be appearing on Bieber's forthcoming LP 'Journals' set to release on December 23rd.
"Greetings I fell from the sky, I'm from a different world I use Lil Wayne as a disguise" raps Wayne on 'Backpack'. 'Journals' was originally supposed to release last week on the 16th but Bieber delayed it to add another newly recorded song. Now the highly anticipated LP comes just two days before the release of his movie 'Believe' on Christmas Day.
'Journals' is expected to hit iTunes exclusively at midnight. Along with Wayne and Future, the 16-track project will feature contributions from Drake, Big Sean, Diplo, Chance The Rapper, and R. Kelly. 10 of the 16 songs appearing on 'Journals' consist of the track releases we've heard the past couple months via Bieber's 'MusicMondays' series. Fans will also receive the official video to 'All That Matters', the 'Believe' theatrical trailer, and the 'Guatemala Pencils of Promise' Journal video with their iTunes album purchase.
