Jason Aldean gets racy on his new single “Burnin’ It Down”. The ballad – co-written by Rodney Clawson, Chris Tompkins, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley- is the first offering from the country singer’s upcoming sixth studio album. The follow-up to 2012’s “Night Train” still has not confirmed title nor release date but you can expect to have it in your hands/downloaded on your smartphone/MP3 player before the year ends via Capitol Nashville / Broken Bow Records.

The first single “Burnin’ It Down” premiered via a lyric video on VEVO on Tuesday , July 22. The song’s been sent to radios in the U.S today as well. Start requesting now!

Review of “Burnin’ It Down”

I like the song. But this is not country song as MANY Jason Aldean fans are commenting on the lyric video’s YouTube page. They are disappointed by Jason's abrupt change of sound and the fact that this is being labeled as "country" music.

Personally I like the song, whether it’s country or not, but considering Jason’s target audience are country music-listeners, well, he has a problem, doesn't he? "Burnin' It Down" is a steamy song where the topic is sex. Jason may use all the metaphors and cheesy phrasings he wants, but "Burnin' It Down" is basically a baby-making song.
