New Music: Ed Sheeran - "Touch And Go" [Full Audio + Review]

ed sheeran touch and go

Today, November 13th, ginger-haired singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran releases the re-issue edition of his latest studio album “X”, now christened with the title of “X: Wembley Edition”. Atlantic Records is betting high on their roster star to try and attract the highest sales possible in this coming holiday season. Evidently, this “X” re-pack is a great strategy as it was one of the best-selling albums from the Warner Music Group label last year.

Inside this “X” re-release fans of the British star will find one entirely new track (supposedly there are others, but these have either already leaked, or he has performed them live in the past, so technically they’re not “new” new). The one I’m talking about it’s called “Touch and Go”. This is an acoustic ballad where the only instrument used is the guitar Ed Sheeran is playing. “Touch and Go” is a heartbreak song where Mr. Ed tell us how difficult is for him to leave the side of his girl. “Lately I really need to know / How long, how long, can we be touch and go”, sings Ed in the chorus of his “X: Wembley Edition” album track.

It’s pretty incredible to believe how a song that is so simple in appearance can be so powerful and can potentially become a hit in radios all around the globe. That’s the Ed Sheeran touch, y’all!

Hit or Miss?
