New Music: Ed Sheeran – ‘Don’t’

Ed Sheeran – ‘Don’t’

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran promised to release a new track at midnight tonight but we’ve managed to get our hands on it a little bit earlier. The song is titled ‘Don’t’ and sits at the No. 4 spot on Sheeran’s forthcoming highly anticipated LP ‘X’. Produced by Benny Blanco and Rick Rubin.

’Don’t’ was first premiered by Ed Sheeran in New York City on ‘Saturday Night Live’ back in April. The song was actually inspired by Ellie Goulding after she allegedly cheated on him and what better way to get back at her then make a song for millions of people to hear. "And I never saw him as a threat, until you disappeared with him to have sex of course" sings the 23-year old artist.

’X’, which will include the Pharrell-produced ‘Sing’, is expected to arrive in stores on June 23rd. Ed mentioned on Twitter earlier today he’ll be making a new song from the album available every day at midnight starting next week. Pre-order the album on iTunes and take a listen to the full studio version of ‘Don’t’ below.
