New Music: Craig David - 'Cold'
What is Craig David doing? I thought his job
was being a 24/7 bodybuilder/DJ in
The British singer (and very fit) singer premiered
on July 3 via SoundCloud a brand new song titled 'Cold', which Craig described
on Facebook as “a little taster of some new music I'm working on right now...”.
So no official lead single of anything then?
Craig was supposed to release LAST YEAR a new
album (his sixth) called 'Following My Intuition’ but in the end that never
happened. He just stuck to his heavy gym routine and doing gigs in
‘Cold’ sounds like a progressive-urban track. It’s not a bad. It's definitely something he'll be able to use at his DJ shows. The track is giving me too a bit of Kanye West vibes circa ‘808s & Heartbreak’. In fact, isn’t that Kanye singing the low-key ‘cold, cold, cold’ bits in the chorus? Ha. [Read more here]
