New Music: Cher Lloyd - 'Human'
Cher Lloyd is loving her ballads lately. First it was "Sirens", and now "Human".
If two weeks ago the British pop girl premiered via MTV.com the first 'promo' single from upcoming album "Sorry I'm Late" (May 27), the caveman anthem "Dirty Love", this week Cher repeats the same tactic, now dropping a big ballad, though, called "Human".
I'm personally more of a fan of the 'With Ur love', 'Want U Back, 'I Wish' Cher, but she does a great job singing these big ballads too. Truth must be told! "Human" isn't on the same level of greatness of "Sirens" but it's quite close. Thankfully Epic didn't pick 'Human' as first single from "Sorry I'm Late" 'cause Christina Perri a single out with that title too.
In 'Human', Cher wails about being a normal girl with imperfections because she's human after all. Great drums and chorus. Now give us an uptempo as next 'promo' single, yes?
