New Music: Cassadee Pope - "11"
Listen now to the touching country ballad "11", Cassadee Pope's latest 'countdown single' off of her debut album "Frame by Frame", due in stores on October 8 via Universal Republic Nashville. The track became available for purchase on iTunes USA in the early hours of August 27th, and it didn't need much time to crack the Top 100 Chart. As of this post, "11" sits at #59. Keep rising!
Can you say AMAZING?. *Buys "11" asap*. Cassadee deserves to be successful. Her voice is just insane, and she's got so much charisma. The ballad "11" was co-written by her along with Nathan Chapman, who also acted as producer. "11" is a biographical song. The singing, and lyrics are very touching. In it, Cassadee speaks of her difficult childhood, with her father abandoning her and her family ("taking his love with him", Pop sings). I believe she addressed this subject during her season on 'The Voice.'
In theory, "Frame by Frame" has only spawned one OFFICIAL single to date, "Wasting All These Tears", which only managed to peak at #37 on Billboard's Hot 100. I hope Cassadee's next official single becomes her true breakthrough hit.
