New Music: Austin Mahone (feat. Pitbull) - "Mmm Yeah" [Full Audio + Review]

austin mahone mmm yeah cover

The HQ studio version of Austin Mahone's brand new single "Mmm Yeah" featuring rapper Pitbull surfaced online today (January 24). The track is the latest official offering from the 17-year-old Texas pop singer's forthcoming debut album (which I doubt is still titled "Junior Year") due to hit stores Stateside via Cash Money/Republic later this year.

Austin Mahone released last November another official single called "Banga Banga". An urban-pop cut (very early Chris Brown) produced by Sean Garrett. The song was a complete chart failure. Austin premiered a music video for "Banga Banga", but that was pretty much all the promotion he gave the song. It was like Cash Money/Republic, quickly after the single release, had realized the mistake that was releasing that mess called "Banga Banga". It flopped badly. So badly.

Now trying to redeem fans and himself, Austin is putting out this new song "Mmm Yeah". And thanfully, it's so much better. I kind of hated on the first listen. For real, more Pitbull? But after a few listens, the song grew on me a lot. So definitely give "Mmm Yeah" a chance. Pitbull's verses are corny as hell, but someway, somehow, his corniness seems to work well with this uptempo beats every time. It's like he gets the party started just with a few stupid lyrics. As for Austin's parts and chorus, he's sounding better than ever!

Oh yeah, "Mmm Yeah" is bona-fide BOP. Check it out!

Hit or Miss?
