New Music: Adrian Lux - Fire
Swedish DJ Adrian Lux has been making waves through the international club scene in the last years, I'm sure some of you must've heard of him! Most notably is the success of his 2010 smash "Teenage Crime", which got to #6 on the triple J Hottest 100 charts, and has gathered over 600,000 views on YouTube. Other rather known songs from him are; "Can't Sleep", "Strawberry" or "Alive".
Having recently signed a deal with Ultra Records, the Stockholm-based DJ is currently gearing up for the release of his self-titled debut album in March 2012. The first single from that set will be the track "Fire", featuring up-and-coming Swedish songstress Lune. In "Fire", DJ Lux delivers a softer, more trancy beat that is sure to evoke emotions among all listeners, and where Lune puts just the right amount of vocals and personal touch, which should make it catchy enough for sing alongs. Loving this! "Fire" is just fire, haha. Very chill-out, but very remixable at the same time. We should really keep an eye on Adrian Lux, he may as well become a new 'it' DJ soon. I've been following his work for some time now, and I'm glad he's finally getting the chance to break into the mainstream world, and releasing a full album.
