Nelly Furtado - Girlfriend In This City (New Song!)
Here's a recently leaked new song by Nelly Furtado entitled "Girlfriend In This City". The cut is said to be part of the recording sessions of Furtado's upcoming English album "Lifestyles", expected to hit stores this Summer. Finally new Nelly music in English. I like the musical arrangement "Girl Friend In This City" has, with the very orchestral sound but the thing as a whole doesn't work for me. Maybe with a few more listens...
Alhough confirming months ago Timbaland and her had hit the studio and recorded several tracks for her upcoming fifth album, in a recent interview Nelly said Timbo won't be appearing on it. Last minute label decision? Anyways, she also commented on the album's direction saying "I can say is that its a combination of my other four albums. It has hip-hop, reggae, love songs." I just hope since she's releasing "Lifestyles" in the summer she has THAT hot uptempo record perfect for the season all her fans are expecting.
