Naya Rivera Covers "If I Die Young" For Cory Monteith's Glee Tribute Episode: Listen
The third episode of Season 5 of FOX's hit musical series "Glee", airing next week on October 10th, will definitely be an emotional one, so make sure to have an extra supply of tissue paper just in case!. The episode, called "The Quarterback", will tackle the death of character Finn Hudson. That's right, this is going to be the tribute episode of actor Finn Hudson, who was found dead at his Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada) hotel last July. The final report stated that the official cause of the death was; "'mixed drug toxicity, involving intravenous heroin use combined with the ingestion of alcohol".
During "The Quarterback" episode, Santana (played by Naya Rivera) will perform a cover of "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry. The full studio version of Naya's rendition surfaced online today (October 6), days ahead of the Glee episode 3 premiere. She sounds just beautiful! Very well sung, and I could feel her emotion.
