So when is that new album coming, Natalia? It’s being a very long waiting!

The English singer-songwriter keeps releasing new songs but no news yet on when she plants to release her fourth studio album - allegedly titled “The Next Chapter”. Sweet were the days Natalia Bedingfield topped the charts with pop hits such as “Unwritten” or “Pocketful of Sunshine” in the mid-2000s, but these days the blonde singer and sister of Daniel Bedingfield has to struggle with a ‘lack’ of popularity. Ever since the 2010 album "Strip Me" (had very poor sales), it all went downhill for her. People disconnected from Natasha and her music, and simply opted to listen to other/new artists. She’s lost record deals, and currently releases new songs from time to time in a 'indie' mode trying to control the spending the most possible.

It’s been five years since “Strip Me”. Will there be a new Natasha album in the future? Yes. She confirmed she’s working on one, but no release date has been divulged yet. She’s coming, but slowly. I’m a true fan of Natasha and I really liked all of her albums (yes, including “Strip Me”), and I just blame her decline in popularity to bad luck and the rise of new artists; not because her music suddenly became bad.

Anyhow, enough rambling. Natasha just premiered online a new one-off single and it is called "Hope". Upon hearing the inspiring ballad, I thought it was a song with a universal message for all people to relate to it, but it looks like the target of this song is very specific. Read what Ms. Bedingfield had to say about "Hope" below:

The above was posted on her official Facebook. So “Hope” was written with people suffering from mental problems in mind. What a beautiful song, so well sung, and the message couldn’t be stronger and more inspiring. After streaming "Hope" in full below, make sure to mark your calendars January 13 because you all need to buy it! It's for a good cause! And if you’re a Natasha Bedingfield fan you really need to buy "Hope" because 80% of the earnings will go to her and to the budget for independently releasing her new album “soon”. And she needs the money. Releasing albums is no cheap thing.
