MØ Keeps The Weird Dance Moves Coming In “Lean On” Performance on ‘Jimmy Fallon’ (Video)
Song of the summer “Lean On” (top 10 on iTunes, top 20 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and still no. 1 on Spotify Global Chart) is undoubtedly a huge worldwide success, so that’s why it’s really shocking that it hasn’t been performed live on a major television show in the US to date. Thankfully, Major Lazer, DJ Snake and Denmark’s MØ changed this last night (June 24th) when they delivered a performance of “Lean On” on NBC’s “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon”. Although it wasn’t the best performance ever, it was entertaining to watch.
MØ’s weird dance moves (the exact ones we saw in her infamous SNL “Beg For It” performance with Iggy Azalea last year) worked this time, as the infectious “Lean On” beat makes you lose it and not really focus on doing non-strange dance moves, however her vocals were a bit upsetting. She held her own in the low notes but when she tried to hit the high ones, her voice would just break. And it didn’t sound pretty. Other than that (maybe she was sick?), it was a decent performance.
