The music video for the massive MNEK and Zara Larsson collaboration "Never Forget You" is now available on VEVO, and let me just say, what a storyline! MNEK is one creative man and I just knew he wouldn't for an easy treatment for this music video.
Before you read the description of the "Never Forget You" music video below, in the words of MNEK, you must know that this stunning visual was shot in Iceland (wow!) and was directed by Richard Paris Wilson. (And the song is apparently just a one-off pop-house collaboration between the British man and the Swedish lady, as so far none of them have commented on any particular project this song is supposed to land on. Boo! I was hoping for a collaborative EP or something!).
Plot:
"When Zara + I finished ‘Never Forget You’ and it came to looking for treatments for the video, the main thing that was requested was a strong intense narrative,” MNEK told SPIN. “I feel like Richard Paris Wilson did a great job directing and being the brains behind this video. It was shot in Iceland and follows two passionate characters, a lady who goes from young girl to a grown woman and an 8ft tall monster who is a Big Friendly Giant (like myself a bit, to be honest!) who from the day they meet until the moment their final days are near are by each other’s sides"
